The Houston Rockets defeated the Golden State Warriors 118-101 at Thomas & Mack Center on Thursday in the NBA 2K24 Summer League.

The Rockets and the Warriors played a tight game in the early stages of the contest, but the Rockets pulled away with a 37-20 score in the second quarter and never looked back. Even though the Warriors put up a fight and competed in the second half, the gap was too much, and the Rockets cruised to victory even though they won the final two quarters by just one point.

The Rockets featured just seven players in this game, but six scored in double digits. Cam Whitmore led the way with a 26-point, eight-steal performance that included five rebounds, one assist and a block.
