Dave Johnson

The 2023-24 season marks Dave Johnson's 27th consecutive season as the voice of the Wizards on the Washington Wizards Radio Network. Along with Glenn Consor, Johnson brings Wizards back to life on the radio with colorful, detailed descriptions and his signature call, "It's There," on big shots from distance. During a 27-year career at WTOP Johnson has won multiple awards as best sportscaster in Washington D.C. and an Edward R. Murrow award for best writing.

Johnson also serves as the Wizards Senior Director Broadcasting for radio and manages the team's nine-station network and digital channel Wizards Radio 247. In addition, Johnson can frequently be seen on television as an anchor on NBC 4 and NBC Sports Washington and handling the play-by-play of Major League Soccer’s D.C. United.

Among Johnson’s other career highlights is an Emmy Award for his work as the host of the NHL’s Washington Capitals Face Off television show, an extensive play-by-play resume of college football, college basketball and lacrosse. A 2010 inductee into the Virginia-DC Soccer Hall of Fame, Johnson has broadcast soccer on television for over 25 years including work on ESPN and FOX Sports. Johnson also served as the play-by-play voice for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on XM radio, for whom he called over 20 matches, including the World Cup final in Berlin.

In 2019 Johnson was named D.C. Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association. Diagnosed with MS in 2019, Johnson is active with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. A graduate of Towson University, Dave and his wife, Diane, live in Annapolis, MD and have one son, Pierce.

Glenn Consor

The 2023-24 season is Glenn Consor's 17th season as the color analyst and post-game call-in show host on the Washington Wizards Radio Network. Alongside 25-year play-by-play veteran Dave Johnson, Consor is an Emmy Award winning color analyst who brings over two decades of experience covering the Wizards to the booth. After 20 years covering the Wizards for various media outlets, most recently for NBC Sports Washington as an analyst on the network's live postgame show, Consor added a new perspective of watching the Wizards to his resume during the 2007-08 season. From 1990-95 Consor was a scout for the Wizards franchise and Indiana Pacers. In addition to his work with the Wizards, Consor has served as a basketball analyst for NBA-TV, Home Team Sports, ESPN's regional college basketball broadcasts, Sports Talk 980, Westwood One’s coverage of the NCAA Tournament, and Comcast SportsNet’s collegiate broadcasts. Consor is a fixture on Monumental Sports Network and provides periodic Wizards analysis for NBC Sports Washington as well, and served as Wizards Camp Director in the summer of 2009 for two youth basketball camps. In his playing days, Consor started for four years for Hall of Fame Coach Rick Pitino at Boston University, before playing professionally in Israel.

Originally from Flushing Queens, New York, Consor currently resides in Rockville, Maryland with his wife, Mara, and two sons, Kenny and Jonny.

Bryan Albin

Bryan Albin has nearly a decade of experience in the sports media industry. Since 2019, he has acted as the fill-in play-by-play announcer for the Washington Wizards Radio Network where he has served as the lead producer and studio host since 2014. Albin expanded his role with the Wizards in 2018 when he became the lead content creator for Wizards Radio 24/7 where he hosts the only hour-long digital pregame show in the NBA titled "The Wizards Power Hour."

Albin has lived in the Washington, D.C. area since he began attending George Washington University in 2009 where he studied journalism and mass communications. This was where he first broke into sports media as a play-by-play and color commentator on the student radio station WRGW. Much like his basketball playing days when he was considered a multi-positional "glue-guy," Albin has remained steady in his pursuit to diversify his skillsets. In 2021, he completed a Master's in Sports Management and Analytics from American University and has worked multiple positions at WTOP-FM in Washington D.C. including sports anchor, sports and news producer, and news operations assistant.

Albin grew up in Fairfield, CT and was a graduate of Fairfield Ludlowe High School. He lives with his wife Emma and enjoys playing basketball and golf, traveling and finding new restaurants in the D.C. area.
