Ted Leonsis // Founder, Chairman, Principal Partner and Chief Executive Officer: Ted Leonsis is an Internet industry pioneer who helped build AOL into a global phenomenon. He is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold multiple successful businesses over three decades. He is a cofounder and partner at Revolution Growth, a venture capital firm helmed by AOL cofounder Steve Case. Leonsis serves on the board of governors for the NBA and NHL as well as on the executive committee of the NHL. Leonsis founded SnagFilms, the internet’s leading site for online audiences to find, watch, and share documentary films. Ted also has been a producer of award-winning documentary films such as Kicking It, Nanking, and A Fighting Chance. Leonsis has been named Washington’s Businessman of the Year, Washingtonian of the Year, one of the 20 most influential people in sports, and one of the top 10 entrepreneurs of the year. Raul Fernandez // Vice Chairman and Partner: Raul J. Fernandez is an entrepreneur, investor, and strategic partner who brings more than three decades of executive experience scaling innovative technology companies. In addition to his role at Monumental, he is a Senior Advisor to General Atlantic Partners, a growth equity firm with more than $40 billion under management. Mr. Fernandez currently serves on the board of directors at DXC Technology (NYSE), Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ), and GameStop (NYSE). He founded Proxicom, a global provider of e-commerce solutions for Fortune 500 companies, which he took public in 1999 and later sold to Dimension Data. Sheila Johnson // Vice Chairman and Partner: Sheila C. Johnson is an entrepreneur and philanthropist whose accomplishments span the arenas of hospitality, sports, TV/film, the arts and humanitarian causes. She is CEO of Salamander Hotels & Resorts, overseeing a growing portfolio of luxury properties and lifestyle businesses. Ms. Johnson is the only African American woman to have a principal shareholder stake in three professional sports teams: the Washington Wizards, Capitals and Mystics, for which she serves as governor. David T. Blair // Partner: David T. Blair is chairman of Accountable Health Solutions Inc., a healthcare services company that develops technology-enabled solutions to improve quality, increase efficiency and reduce costs in the delivery of healthcare. From its founding in 1998 through 2012, Mr. Blair served as chairman and chief executive officer of Catalyst Health Solutions Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Catalyst was acquired by SXC Health Solutions in 2012 for $4.8 billion. Through their family foundation, Mr. Blair and his wife, Mikel, support a number of local and national philanthropic organizations. He also serves as a board member and acts in an advisory capacity to several corporations and nonprofits.

Scott Brickman // Partner: Scott Brickman is the managing director of Long Grove Capital an investment firm which invests in a broad array of businesses. Mr. Brickman is the retired Chairman and CEO of the Brickman Group, the nation’s largest landscape services company which under his leadership grew from a handful of regional branches to 170 branches throughout the country employing over 12,000 associates. Neil D. Cohen // Partner: Neil D. Cohen is the Executive Chairman of District Photo Inc., which is one of the largest consumer digital print, variable data printer and gift fulfillment services in the world. The company is an owner of the Snapfish and Shutterfly consumer brands. He started with the company in 1976 and has been president and CEO since 1989. Mr. Cohen, a native of Washington, D.C., is the past president of the Photo Marketing Association International. He has also been involved in numerous business groups, including the Young Presidents’ Organization, and a wide-range of philanthropic organizations serving children’s needs, education, faith-based organizations and health-related causes.

Jack Davies // Partner: Jack Davies was the founder and president of AOL International and now serves on the board of directors of Scholastic where he is Chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. Prior to joining AOL in 1993, Mr. Davies was managing director of Citicorp’s London-based consumer mortgage business after serving as vice president, Europe, for RCA Records. Richard D. Fairbank // Partner: Richard D. Fairbank is founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Capital One Financial Corporation. As an innovator and entrepreneurial leader, Mr. Fairbank has grown Capital One from a start-up into one of the ten largest banks in America and 100 largest companies in the country as ranked by Fortune magazine. Michelle DiFebo Freeman // Partner: Michelle DiFebo Freeman is the owner and CEO of the Carl M. Freeman Companies, a 74 year-old real estate company that specializes in land acquisition, planning, development, and management of residential and retail properties. CMFA also owns two award winning golf courses in Delaware, as well as a historic 600-acre bed-and-breakfast and event space, Tusculum Farm, in Sunshine, Maryland. Ms. Freeman is president and chairman of the Carl M. Freeman Foundation and is the founding chairman of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, which honors her late husband. Laurene Powell Jobs // Partner: Laurene Powell Jobs is founder and president of Emerson Collective. Laurene’s commitment to renewing America’s calcified social systems deepened over two decades ago with her work in education. Richard Kay // Partner (In Memoriam): Richard Kay was chairman of Sentrillion Inc., a border security, cyber-security, information assurance and healthcare managed services company. He was the former founder, chairman and CEO of OTG Software, a leader in the data storage software company that he founded in 1992. OTG became the leader in online data storage solutions. Mr. Kay served on the board of directors of the University of Maryland School of Engineering. He was a special partner with ABS Capital, a multibillion-dollar equity investment firm focused on healthcare, IT and media companies. Jeong H. Kim // Partner: Jeong H. Kim is chairman of Kiswe Mobile Inc., a startup focusing on interactive mobile video. Dr. Kim also served as president of Bell Labs, the communication industry’s most heralded research organization. His early career encompassed computer design, satellite systems design and data communications, including seven years as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Kim currently serves on the boards of Samsung Electronics Co. and the Nuclear Threat Initiative. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, who named him one of the 10 most influential Asian Americans. In January 2014, the government of France awarded him membership in the Legion of Honor for his services in global technology.

Mark D. Lerner // Partner: Mark D. Lerner, representing members of the Lerner, Cohen and Tanenbaum family, is the managing principal owner and vice chairman of the 2019 World Series Champion Washington Nationals and a principal of Lerner Enterprises, a real estate development, management and investment company concentrated in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Mr. Lerner and his family are leading philanthropists in the region, supporting numerous organizations and causes. He currently serves as a trustee of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, and as a member of the board of The George Washington University Hillel.

Roger Mody // Partner: Mr. Mody also is an associate publisher of Inc. Magazine and is the former chairman and CEO of SIGNAL Corporation.  Mr. Mody is the founder and chairman of The Mody Foundation, whose goal is to provide higher education, health-based and athletics funding for economically disadvantaged inner-city children.  The Mody Foundation has been actively involved in the Washington-area philanthropic community, participating with the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Orphan Network, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Easter Seals. Anthony Nader // Partner: Anthony Nader is a co-founder and managing director of SWaN & Legend Venture Partners, a multi-stage venture capital firm that invests in high-growth, high-quality organizations and the entrepreneurs behind them. Mr. Nader is Vice Chairman at Asurion, a company that he successfully merged with his company, NEW, in 2008 where he served as CEO. Fredrick D. Schaufeld // Partner: Fredrick D. Schaufeld is a co-Founder, along with Anthony Nader and Cliff White, and Managing Director of SWaN & Legend Venture Partners (SWaN). Earl W. Stafford // Partner: Earl W. Stafford is the chairman and CEO of The Stafford Foundation, a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing services to empowering self-reliance among the disadvantaged and underserved. Mr. Stafford also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Wentworth Group, LLC, a privately-held company that provides essential business services and growth investment support to commercial technology focused small businesses. George P. Stamas // Partner: George P. Cliff White // Partner: Cliff White was a founding partner and the financial architect of NEW Corp. (now NEW Asurion Corp.), the world’s largest consumer product protection company. Mr. White is an active philanthropist, honored as the 2017 Montgomery County Philanthropist of the Year. Dick Patrick // Partner: The Patrick family name is synonymous with the sport of hockey and the National Hockey League.
