The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the New York Knicks, 110-101, in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Saturday.

While there were six ties and seven lead changes through the opening 15 minutes, Philadelphia never relinquished the lead after that. The 76ers rode that 29-20 second quarter to their victory, getting their lead up to 16 points at times. New York did get it down to a three-point margin with 19 seconds left but never had a game-tying shot in the second half. The Sixers shot 11-of-29 from three-point range, while the Knicks connected on just 3-of-20. Philly forced 19 turnovers, outscoring the Knicks in points off of turnovers, 26-15.

The Knicks (0-1) were led by DaQuan Jeffries, who generated 20 points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Charlie Brown, Jr. finished with 17 points, six rebounds and three steals. Michael Foster, Jr. had 12 points and five boards. Jaylen Martin, Marcus Garrett, Jalen Harris and Dmytro Skapintsev all reached double figures off of the bench.

The Sixers (2-2) were led by Jaden Springer, finishing with 23 points, three rebounds and three assists. Javonte Smart accrued 17 points, five rebounds and five assists. Terquavion Smith tallied 13 points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks, while DJ Steward led the bench with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

On deck for New York is a matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. The 76ers play the Dallas Mavericks on Monday in their next game.
