The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Dallas Mavericks 91-80 in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center on Saturday.

While there were seven lead changes in this game, Oklahoma City held the lead for all but a handful of minutes. The Thunder outscored the Mavericks in all four individual quarters, leading by at least seven points for the entirety of the fourth quarter. The Thunder shot 46% from the field and 44% from 3-point range (19-of-43) while holding the Mavs to 42% from the field and 29% from long range (9-of-31). Oklahoma City also out-assisted Dallas, 23-14.

The Thunder (1-0) were led by Cason Wallace, who totaled 20 points, three rebounds and two steals. Chet Holmgren had 16 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Ousmane Dieng tallied 13 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Tre Mann logged 11 points, five assists and two steals.

Jaden Hardy led the charge for the Mavericks (0-1), tallying 24 points, six rebounds and two steals. A.J. Lawson amassed 11 points, four rebounds and three steals. Brandon Randolph was the leader off the bench with 10 points, three rebounds and two steals.
