NBA 2K24 Summer League: Orlando Robinson leads Heat to victory over Blazers

Second-year center Orlando Robinson scored a game-high 27 points to help Miami wrap up its Summer League play with a win.

Another stellar performance from Orlando Robinson propelled the Miami Heat to an easy 104-78 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Sunday evening.

The first half didn’t foretell the lopsided win that was to come, considering the Heat led by just four after one period, and it was the Trail Blazers that held the same advantage at halftime. The game turned in the third quarter with Miami enjoying a 28-7 edge during the period before adding nine points to its final margin of victory over the final 10 minutes. The Heat forged an especially pronounced turnover advantage, committing 12 while forcing 23.

Robinson led the Heat with a game-high 27 points, adding nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block. Dru Smith posted 16 points, four boards, four assists and three steals. Jamal Cain finished with 15 points, two rebounds, one assist and one block. Alondes Williams delivered 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal. 

Duop Reath paced the Trail Blazers with 18 points off the bench, to go along with six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. Michael Devoe put up 16 points, five assists and four rebounds. No. 23 pick Kris Murray finished with 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jabari Walker registered 10 points and four boards.  

Both teams have now concluded NBA 2K24 Summer League play.
