The Detroit Pistons defeated the Indiana Pacers, 100-85, in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Sunday. 

There were four ties and four lead changes in the matchup, with Detroit riding a 58-38 second half which secured the blowout victory. However, this game stayed within a six-point margin until the final seven minutes. The Pistons shot 52% from the floor and 29% from three-point range, while holding the Pacers to 35% from the field and 24.1% from the arc.

Detroit controlled the pace by outscoring Indiana in fastbreak points, 14-6, and in points off of turnovers, 12-6.

The Pistons (4-1) were led by Marcus Sasser, who scored a Summer League-high 40 points on 64% (16-for-25) from the field. He also provided three rebounds and five assists. Stanley Umude amassed 13 points and nine rebounds. Zavier Simpson led the bench with 10 points, five rebounds and two steals.

Isaiah Wong paced the Pacers (2-3), finishing with 24 points and three assists. Ben Sheppard totaled 12 points and two boards. Darius McGhee led the bench with 10 points, two rebounds and two assists. 

That marks the end of the NBA 2K24 Summer League for both of these teams.
