The New York Knicks defeated the Orlando Magic in overtime, 82-80, in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
There were 12 ties and seven lead changes in this game. Orlando outscored New York 7-5 to reach the 82-point designation. Jaylen Martin was the hero for the Knicks, hitting a game-winning floater to reach that target score.

New York recorded 23 assists to 15 turnovers, while Orlando had 12 assists to 21 turnovers. The Knicks also narrowly outperformed the Magic in rebounds, steals, fastbreak points, points in the paint and second-chance scoring.
The Knicks (1-2) were led by Charlie Brown, Jr., who collected 19 points, six rebounds and four blocks. QJ Peterson led the bench with 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Martin finished with 12 points to go along with his game-winner.
The Magic (0-3) were led by Jett Howard, who tallied 22 points and three rebounds. Quinndary Weatherspoon totaled 17 points and seven rebounds, but committed seven turnovers. Anthony Black accrued eight points, 14 rebounds and two blocks.
Orlando plays again Thursday, against Portland Trail Blazers. New York faces the Boston Celtics on Friday for their next outing.
