I wanted to show what it was like when I got the opportunity to join the HBCU family.
Although your experiences may have been rough, there is always another way. My way
was the opportunity to go to college. At the time I didn’t know whether this opportunity
was a good one or a bad one I just knew it was “A WAY”. I knew it was a different path
than the one I was on. Never be afraid of opportunity. You don’t know where each
opportunity may lead you.
