Played three seasons at TCU after spending his freshman campaign at New Mexico Junior College, appearing in 102 games (85 starts) for the Horned Frogs in which he averaged 11.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 steals. Finished with 877 career rebounds in 2017-18 for the fourth-most in school history while averaging 13.2 points per game, which ranked second on the team and 16th in the Big 12. Was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Emerald Coast Classic after recording 23 points and 17 rebounds against New Mexico (11/24) and 17 points and 12 rebounds against St. Bonaventure (11/25).

Earned the nicknamed ‘Kenny Hustle’ while at TCU due to his relentless effort, diving at loose balls, and chasing down rebounds. Likes to listen to music and watch film as part of his pregame routine. Best moment of his NBA career is scoring his first points. Drake is his celebrity lookalike. LaDainian Tomlinson is his favorite athlete of all time. Wanted to be a football player as a child. Father to one daughter, Layla.
