SAN ANTONIO (April 3, 2024) –&nbsp;Spurs Give is partnering with Fiesta® San Antonio to host the annual Fiesta de&nbsp;los&nbsp;Spurs Run on Saturday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. The run takes place before the&nbsp;Fiesta® Flambeau and gives participants the opportunity to run or walk a 3.1-mile parade route along the streets of a cheering crowd.&nbsp;Registration is now open online.

The Fiesta de&nbsp;los&nbsp;Spurs Run encourages runners to wear costumes, Fiesta attire or their best Spurs gear for a chance to win a prize in a pre-race costume contest. There's no specific theme, so runners can choose their own creative outfits.

Following the run, a post-race celebration will be held at Piazza Italia Park with food and drinks specials, live music, special guest appearances, photo opportunities and chances to win exclusive memorabilia.&nbsp;

Proceeds from the race will support funding the Play SA program through Spurs Give. Spurs Give works to strengthen and serve the community through impactful programming, player engagements and community investments that enrich the lives of youth and those around them. The nonprofit runs numerous programs throughout the city, including park renovations and the Spurs Youth Basketball League.

SAN ANTONIO (April 3, 2024)&nbsp;– The San Antonio Spurs today announced activations for Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Takis, to close out the Spurs regular season on Sunday, April 14. Fans are invited to cheer on the Silver and Black as they wrap up their season with a contest against the Detroit Pistons, tipping off at 2:30 p.m. Fan Appreciation Night will feature multiple giveaways and activations to celebrate the San Antonio fanbase, including a full arena T-shirt giveaway which features illustrations of Coyote hand-drawn by Spurs players.

This exclusive T-shirt, free to all ticketed attendees, is covered in various creative interpretations of Coyote, drawn by Blake Wesley, Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson, Malaki Branham, Tre Jones, Victor Wembanyama and Zach Collins. The cartoons pay tribute to San Antonio’s favorite mascot, with personal touches in each player’s drawing. Throughout the game, fans can expect several other giveaways, prizes, photo opportunities and interactive fun as a token of the Spurs appreciation for their fans. To close out the night, Takis ambassadors will hand out free bags of Takis Fuego and Takis Intense Nacho flavored chips to all fans as they exit the arena.

SAN ANTONIO (April 2, 2024)&nbsp;–&nbsp;The&nbsp;NBA today announced that&nbsp;Victor&nbsp;Wembanyama&nbsp;has been&nbsp;named&nbsp;the&nbsp;Western Conference Kia Rookie&nbsp;of&nbsp;the Month&nbsp;for games played in March.&nbsp;This marks his third straight Rookie of the Month honor, making him the first Spur since Tim Duncan to capture the award three months in a row. Kia became a partner of the San Antonio Spurs during the 2023-24 season.

Wembanyama&nbsp;appeared in&nbsp;12 games (all starts) for the Spurs in March, averaging 21.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, a league-leading 3.83 blocks and 1.17 steals in 31.7 minutes to lead all&nbsp;rookies&nbsp;in scoring, rebounding and blocks for the month.

In an overtime win vs. Brooklyn on March 17, he finished with 33 points, 15 rebounds 7 blocks and 7 assists,&nbsp;joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (three times), Charles Barkley (1986) and Joel Embiid (2017) as the only players with 30 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 blocks in a game.&nbsp;

During the month, he posted eight double-doubles including a season-high 40 points, 20 rebounds and 7 assists vs. the Knicks on March 29, becoming the first rookie with 40+ points and 20+ rebounds since Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93).

The month also included five 30-plus-point games from Wembanyama, which is most for a rookie in a calendar month since LeBron James in Dec. 2003.

The San Antonio Spurs cemented a new partnership with Kia America (Kia) earlier this season, joining 15 other teams in the Kia NBA family. Kia has an expanded presence at Spurs games with additional branding on the bottom pole pad and collaborated with the Spurs to feature a car display at Spurs home games and Frost Bank Center concerts and events at Section 115. SAN ANTONIO (March 11, 2024)&nbsp;– Legends is seeking to hire full-time and part-time employees for the new Roca & Martillo restaurant with two upcoming job fairs. Roca & Martillo is the new restaurant that will be open to the public at The Rock at La Cantera in Spring 2024. Hospitality operations and special events at the restaurant will be managed by Legends, a global premium experiences company.&nbsp;

SAN ANTONIO (March 6, 2024)&nbsp;– The San Antonio Spurs today unveiled a special Spurs x Austin themed mural at Wanderlust Wine Co., created by local Austin artist&nbsp;Adrian Landon Brooks, in celebration of their upcoming Spurs Week and I-35 Series, presented by Alienware and X World Wallet. The Spurs are also releasing a limited number of ticket packages for the Sunday I-35 Series game against the Brooklyn Nets which will include a T-shirt featuring a portion of the mural, while supplies last.

The outdoor mural is a tribute to Spurs fans in Austin and was recently completed at Wanderlust Wine Co.’s downtown location and depicts a collage of different icons and patterns representing the Spurs and symbolizing the motion and movement of basketball. Muralist Brooks is an Austin-based painter and creator who has exhibited his work across the U.S. and internationally. The mural will remain up through the remainder of the Spurs 2023-24 season and fans are encouraged to take a photo and tag @Spurs and @Austin_Spurs using #SpursGetMoody for a chance to be featured on the team’s social channels. During Spurs Week, the Spurs will host a pop-up at the mural on Wednesday, March 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where fans can stop by for free to enjoy a DJ, prizes and photo opportunities.&nbsp;
