Player Bio

Johnathan Judah Isaac is the son of Jackie Allen. He was born in The Bronx in New York in 1997. Isaac has on older sister, two older brothers and two younger brothers. He spent his freshman and sophomore high school seasons at Barron Collier High School in Naples, Florida. In his junior and senior years, he attended the International School of Broward in Hollywood, Florida. He then spent a post-graduate year at IMG Academy before attending college at Florida State. Isaac majored in sport management while at FSU. In 2018, Isaac started the Jonathan Isaac Fight for Literacy program, raising money and bringing awareness to the importance of reading. In 2019, Isaac was recognized for his efforts in improving the Central Florida community and was the co-winner of the Rich and Helen DeVos Community Enrichment award. The 6-foot-10 center was named to the 2016-17 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman Team for the Seminoles, in addition to garnering a nod on the All-ACC Honorable Mention squad. He helped lead Florida State to the 2017 NCAA Tournament second round, collecting double-digit rebounds in each postseason appearance. Statistically, Isaac was fifth in blocks per game (1.5) in the ACC for the 16-17 season. He also led his team in rebounds per game (7.8) and was second on FSU in both scoring (12.0 PPG) and steals (1.2 SPG). Isaac opted to enter the 2017 NBA Draft after his freshman year and was selected in the first round (sixth overall) by the Orlando Magic.
