Bucks 92, Nuggets 85: Box Score | Game Detail

MarJon Beauchamp poured in 23 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 92-85 victory over the Denver Nuggets in the NBA 2K24 Summer League on Friday at Thomas and Mack Center.

The Nuggets got out to a strong start in the first half but every time they rallied to a significant cushion the Bucks fought back and managed to trail by just two points at halftime. The Bucks turned up the heat in the third and outscored their opponent 26-18 to take a six-point advantage into the final frame. The Nuggets kept up the pressure in the fourth, but the Bucks stayed a step ahead and closed out the seven-point win with confidence.

Beauchamp hauled in eight rebounds and tallied two assists and a block to go with his 23 points in 32 minutes of action. Nico Mannion followed up with 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Jazian Gortman was the only other player to score in double digits for Milwaukee, notching 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting off the bench.

Meanwhile, Peyton Watson led the Nuggets with 23 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals and three blocks in a productive 30 minutes of action. Hunter Tyson followed up with 21 points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in 27 minutes off the bench. Jalen Pickett also stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Next up for the Nuggets is a meeting with the Hawks on Sunday. The Bucks face off against the Suns on Saturday.
