Injury Report: Zion Williamson out, no other Pelicans with injury status for Kings game

With their playoff hopes on the line, the New Orleans Pelicans will be without one of their stars when the Pelicans take on the Sacramento Kings (TNT, 99.5 FM) in the NBA Play-In Tournament in the Smoothie King Center at 8:30 p.m. CT. The winner will receive the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference and a first round matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Forward Zion Williamson (left hamstring strain) will be listed as out for the contest after he exited the previous game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to the injury with 3:13 remaining in the fourth quarter of the game. The team released a statement saying Williamson would be reevaluated in two weeks.

No other Pelicans have an injury status for the contest.

For the Kings, guard Malik Monk (right knee sprain) and guard/forward Kevin Huerter (left shoulder surgery) are both listed as out.
