The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Utah Jazz, 95-85, at Delta Center in Salt Lake City Summer League play on Monday evening.
The Thunder enjoyed seeing Chet Holmgren on the court after he missed the entire 2022-23 season due to a foot injury, and he excelled with his two-way play as Oklahoma City cruised to victory. The Thunder got off to a 16-13 lead in the first quarter, but they also won the subsequent two periods to build a 20-point lead, and while Utah won the final quarter, the Thunder won with ease.
Jalen Williams led the way for the Thunder with 21 points, while Tre Mann had 20 points and seven rebounds. Holmgren posted 15 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and two assists.
All five Utah starters scored in double digits, with rookie Keyonte George pacing the way with 18 points. Luka Samanic had 13 points while Micah Potter ended with 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.
