The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 100-77, in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Monday.

Cleveland won all four individual quarters by at least four points apiece, maintaining a double-digit lead for the entirety of the fourth quarter. The Cavaliers got their lead up to 25 points at times in this blowout victory and shot 52 percent from the field and 56 percent from three-point range while holding the Grizzlies to 34 percent from the field and 28 percent from long range. The Cavaliers also outscored the Grizzlies in the paint, 40-22, and in fastbreak scoring, 18-5.

The Grizzlies (1-1) were led by David Roddy, who registered 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. Jake LaRavia amassed 16 points, three rebounds and three assists. Kenneth Lofton finished with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals. GG Jackson led the bench with 10 points and five boards.

The Cavaliers (3-0) were led by Sam Merrill, who collected 27 points, two rebounds and two assists on 8-for-11 from long range. Emoni Bates had 21 points, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Craig Porter led the bench with 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

On deck for Memphis is a matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. As for Cleveland, they play the Chicago Bulls on Thursday in their next outing.
