This Date in History: Allen's late 3 turns tide for Heat

On June 18th 2013, the Miami Heat faced the San Antonio Spurs in the 2013 NBA Finals. The Spurs led the series 3-2 entering game 6. With only seconds left in the game, the Heat trailed by 3 and were battling to keep their season going. LeBron James took a three to tie the game, but missed. Chris Bosh grabbed the offensive rebound and dished the ball to Ray Allen. Without hesitation, Allen pulled up for the 3 pointer and hit the shot, forcing overtime. The Heat went on to not only win Game 6, but Game 7 for their seconds straight NBA Championship.
