On May 11th 1980, the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. With seven minutes and 35 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Dr. J went baseline and took off. After hanging in the air for what seemed like forever, Erving contorted his body to get to the other side of the rim and laid the ball in. The Sixers went on to win the game 105-102 to tie the series 2-2.
