Iffy for Saturday vs. Bulls
Smart has been upgraded to questionable after missing three consecutive matchups due to an illness. The veteran guard missed six straight outings due to a left ankle injury earlier in the season, and he has logged only seven regular-season appearances this year. If Smart is ruled out, Jaylen Wells and Luke Kennard are candidates for an uptick in playing time.

Good to go against Chicago
Konchar will return to action Saturday after missing Memphis' previous contest due to an illness. With Memphis dealing with a multitude of injuries, Konchar could receive increased playing time against Chicago.

Upgraded to doubtful
Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Tuesday that imaging on Morant's right hip turned out "really good," and while he hasn't been cleared to return to action, the upgrade to a doubtful tag represents a step in the right direction. Morant's chances of returning to action Saturday aren't high, however, but this upgrade in status does show that the star floor general is trending in the right direction. Scotty Pippen should continue to play at point guard while Morant remains sidelined.
