Still weeks away from return

Nesmith has been sidelined since spraining his left ankle against the Pelicans on Nov. 1. He was initially expected to return at some point in December, but that's now up in the air. For what it's worth, Nesmith was able to do some running and shooting on his own at Tuesday's practice.

Game-high assists in G League loss

Jackson led the Mad Ants with nine assists, though he struggled with efficiency in the loss. The two-way guard saw an increased role with the parent club while Andrew Nembhard was sidelined due to a knee injury. However, Jackson will likely see the majority of his playing time in the G League with Nembhard back in action.

Struggles in loss

Haliburton continues to struggle with consistency this season with yet another dud to his name as the Pacers picked up their fifth loss out of their last six games. In his first five December outings, Haliburton hasn't lived up to his standards with averages of 17.4 points, 7.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 1.2 steals and 2.4 three-pointers on 47.0 percent shooting from the field and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc.
