Dealt to New Orleans
Murray averaged a career-high 22.5 points, along with 6.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals, in 35.7 minutes across 78 games in 2023-24. However, his fit alongside Trae Young was troubling, especially on the defensive end, as the Hawks finished with a 36-46 record. In New Orleans, Murray will likely compete for a starting job in the backcourt with CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram.

Team option picked up
After two campaigns in Oklahoma City, Robinson-Earl joined the Pelicans last season and made 39 regular-season appearances (one start). He averaged 2.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game. Robinson-Earl will presumably be an end-of-bench frontcourt option again next season.

Sticks in New Orleans
An undrafted point guard out of Georgia Tech, Alvarado has solidified himself as the Pelicans' top backup point guard over the last three seasons and will likely maintain that role next season. Last season, Alvarado averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 18.4 minutes per game across 56 regular-season appearances.
