Fantasy News

Daniel Theis

Leaves early with ankle injury It's unclear how Theis picked up the injury, but it's considered severe enough to keep him sidelined for the rest of Wednesday's tilt. He finishes the contest scoreless (0-2 FG) with three rebounds across five minutes. Yves Missi and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl should share center work the rest of the way. Theis' next chance to play will come Friday against Indiana.

Franz Wagner

Battling illness Wagner also exited Monday's game against the Pacers early with an illness, so the sickness isn't a new issue. Wagner logged seven points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists, three rebounds, a steal and a block across 23 minutes before leaving. He'll have a day to recover before Orlando travels to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on Friday.

Zach LaVine

Gets X-rays on shoulder LaVine played through left shoulder discomfort Wednesday and had X-rays done postgame. Encouragingly, the X-rays came back negative, but LaVine should be considered day-to-day moving forward. He tallied 11 points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal across 36 minutes Wednesday. The Bulls' next game comes Friday at Brooklyn.

Jrue Holiday

Cedes playing time to Pritchard Interestingly, Holiday didn't see the floor during the fourth quarter or overtime as head coach Joe Mazulla opted to go with Payton Pritchard alongside Derrick White in the back court. It's unclear if it was a matchup decision to have Pritchard playing over Holiday, but it's unlikely that the latter's spot in the Celtics' starting lineup is being threatened. Holiday will look to bounce back Friday against LaMelo Ball and the Hornets.

Andrew Nembhard

Dealing with knee tendinitis Carlisle said the issue popped up during pre-game warmups but he decided to keep Nembhard in the starting lineup. Nembhard was subbed out with 6:57 left in the first quarter and never checked back in. His next chance to play will come Friday at New Orleans.

Payton Pritchard

On court during crunch time Pritchard has bounced back from the 1-for-10 outing on Opening Night to score 15-plus points over his last four regular-season games. Interestingly, Pritchard found himself on the floor during the fourth quarter and overtime alongside Derrick White as Jrue Holiday watched from the bench. It may have been a matchup decision by head coach Joe Mazulla to have Pritchard on the floor instead of Holiday, but it's clear the Celtics trust Pritchard during high-pressure moments. Over his last four outings, Pritchard has averaged 19.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 28.4 minutes per game.

Jayson Tatum

Attempts 18 threes vs. Indiana Tatum scored 37 points Wednesday for the third time this year, though it came at a high volume with some help from the charity stripe. Tatum opened the 2024-25 regular season shooting 48.6 percent from deep over the first three games, but over his last two outings he's gone 6-for-26 from beyond the arc. Still, Tatum is the key that unlocks the Celtics' offense, and he will continue to have high-volume nights as he shows off his new and improved jump shot. The 4-1 Celtics will look to start a new win streak Friday against the Hornets.

Tyrese Haliburton

Dishes 12 dimes Wednesday Haliburton's three-point shot reared its ugly head during Wednesday's game, but he managed to lead both teams with 12 assists while logging his second-straight double-double of the 2024-25 regular season. Haliburton is shooting just 34.6 percent from the field (including 25.0 percent from three) over the first five games of the regular season, but he's the engine that keeps the Pacers' offense going, and he can afford to have off nights as long as teammates Pascal Siakam, Bennedict Mathurin and others are able to pick up the scoring lord.

Victor Wembanyama

Checks back in Wembanyama temporarily exited Wednesday's contest, but he's returned to the game after a brief trip to the locker room. He's averaged 20.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.7 blocks across 31.3 minutes during the Spurs' first three games this season.

Pascal Siakam

Double-double vs. Boston Siakam finished as the Pacers' second-leading scorer Wednesday behind Bennedict Mathurin (30), and the former was able to log his first double-double of the 2024-25 regular season. Siakam struggled from the charity stripe, but he made up for it from deep as he connected on six triples, which tied a career high. Through the first five games of the regular season, Siakam is averaging 20.6 points on 54.7 percent shooting, 7.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists over 33.4 minutes per game.

Victor Wembanyama

Heads to locker room Wembanyama was limping while walking to the locker room just minutes after falling to the floor. Specifics regarding the injuries are unknown. While he's absent, Zach Collins and Sandro Mamukelashvili could see more action. The Spurs are on the front end of a back-to-back, so they could opt to play it safe with the 20-year-old star.

Bennedict Mathurin

Team-high 30 points in OT win Mathurin has logged just five points in each of his last two outings, but he much more impactful during Wednesday's Eastern Conference Finals rematch, finishing the game as the Pacers' leading scorer and with the second-most points for the game behind Jayson Tatum (37). Mathurin also contributed on the glass and managed to register his fourth-career double-double, his first Feb. 25 of the 2023-24 regular season. The 2022 first-round pick has come off the bench during the Pacers' first five games of the regular season, but more outings like Wednesday's could earn him a spot in the starting lineup alongside Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam.

Bilal Coulibaly

Career-high 27 points vs. Hawks Just two days after scoring a then career-best 23 points, Coulibaly surpassed that total with 27 points on just 14 field-goal attempts during Wednesday's win. The 2023 first-round pick began his rookie season on the bench, but he steadily saw his role increase and has continued to see more playing time and responsibilities early on in his sophomore year. Through the first four games of the 2024-25 regular season, Coulibaly is averaging 18.8 points on 59.1 percent shooting, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals across 34.0 minutes per contest.

Keon Johnson

Ejected Wednesday Johnson got into a verbal altercation with Ja Morant midway through the second half and was issued his second technical foul. Johnson will finish the contest with four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, an assist and a steal across 16 minutes off the bench.

Jordan Poole

Near double-double vs. Atlanta Poole was the second-leading scorer for the Wizards on Wednesday behind Bilal Coulibaly (27), and the former was one assist shy from registering his first double-double of the 2024-25 regular season. He's connected on four or more threes in all four of his outings this year, and he's shooting 57.1 percent from beyond the arc on 8.8 3PA/G during that span. Poole and the Wizards will look to extend their two-game win streak Saturday against Jimmy Butler and the Heat.

Lonnie Walker

Headed to Lithuania Walker's durability has limited him in recent years, failing to exceed 58 games across either of the past two campaigns. Meanwhile, a larger role exists in Europe as opposed to the role-player duties he would be tasked with if offered a minimum contract in the NBA. Walker will presumably look to thrive overseas and return to a contender prior to the playoffs -- although remaining in Europe is a distinct possibility.

Jonas Valanciunas

Well-rounded effort off bench Valanciunas entered Washington's starting five Monday against Atlanta, but he retreated to the bench for Wednesday's rematch as No. 2 overall pick Alex Sarr got the nod at center. His change of role didn't seem to bother Valanciunas, however, as he put together a well-rounded game while pacing the Wizards' bench in scoring. The veteran center will provide valuable backup minutes behind Sarr and will occasionally enter the starting lineup throughout the 2024-25 regular season.

David Roddy

Scores 17 points in spot start Roddy was inserted into the Hawks' starting five Wednesday due to Dyson Daniels (hip) being ruled out. Roddy ended up tied with No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher for third-most points on the Hawks behind Trae Young (35) and Jalen Johnson (21). Even if Daniels returns for Friday's game against Sacramento, Roddy should see plenty of playing time as Atlanta is extremely shorthanded due to injuries.

Jalen Johnson

Career-high 17 boards vs. Wizards Johnson was the second-leading scorer for the Hawks on Wednesday behind Trae Young (35) despite the former having an inefficient night from three-point range at at the charity stripe. However, the 2021 first-round pick made up for it on the glass as he grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, six of which came on the offensive side of the floor. Johnson is averaging 16.8 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks through the first five games of the 2024-25 regular season.

Desmond Bane

Suffers oblique injury Bane and Marcus Smart (ankle) have both been ruled out for the remainder of the contest in what has been a parade of injuries for Memphis over the past 12 months. The Grizzlies close a back-to-back Thursday versus Milwaukee and Bane's status will need to be monitored.

Franz Wagner

Goes to locker room Wagner checked out of the contest early in the fourth quarter and headed back to the locker room with an undisclosed injury. While he's absent, Jett Howard, Gary Harris and Caleb Houstan could see more action.

Marcus Smart

Won’t return Wednesday Smart exited the contest during the first half after stepping on Ziaire Williams' foot. As expected, the injury has been labeled a right ankle issue. The Grizzlies close out a back-to-back set Thursday against Milwaukee. While Smart is sidelined, expect Jaylen Wells, Scottie Pippen and John Konchar to handle more work.

Trae Young

Game-high 35 points Wednesday It was a nice bounce-back effort from Young on Wednesday after shooting just 2-for-15 from the field during Monday's loss to Washington. He logged his fourth double-double of the 2024-25 regular season and led both teams in both scoring and assists. He's shooting just 30 percent from three-point range, but he's made up for it at the free throw line where he is shooting at a 90.6 percent clip. Young and the Hawks will travel back to Atlanta to host the Kings on Friday.

Lindy Waters

Starting nod Wednesday Waters gets the start with Stephen Curry (ankle) and Andrew Wiggins (back) sidelined. Wednesday will mark Waters first start since his rookie season in 2021-22, but after a 21-point (8-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt) outburst Tuesday, coach Steve Kerr will go with the hot hand.

Buddy Hield

Not starting Wednesday Hield dropped 28 points on 9-for-18 shooting in his first start of the season Tuesday, but he'll move back to the bench Wednesday in favor of Lindy Waters. Regardless of his reserve status, Hield should see plenty of action as the Warriors will be without Stephen Curry (ankle), De'Anthony Melton (back) and Andrew Wiggins (back) against New Orleans.

Jordan Hawkins

In starting lineup With the Pelicans missing several key pieces due to injury, Hawkins will step into the starting five for the first time this season. Hawkins is averaging 14.5 points and 5.3 rebounds across 29.3 minutes per game in 2024-25.

Andrew Wiggins

Out Wednesday A lower back strain will sideline Wiggins for his second consecutive contest. Lindy Waters is coming off of 21-point effort in his absence, while the quartet of Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Buddy Hield and Jonathan Kuminga will also shoulder additional load in the offense.

Cason Wallace

Back in first unit After a one-game stint on be bench, Wallace returns to the starting five Wednesday in place of Aaron Wiggins. Wallace is averaging 6.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals across 25.3 minutes per game.

Aaron Wiggins

Slides back to bench Wiggins drew the start in Oklahoma City's last game but played just 18 minutes. Cason Wallace will take Wiggins' spot against San Antonio. Wiggins is averaging 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 17.7 minutes per game.

Jordan Hawkins

Cleared to play Hawkins was considered a game-time decision Wednesday with lower back spasms, but he's been given the green light to suit up. With CJ McCollum (adductor), Herbert Jones (shoulder) and Trey Murphy (hamstring) inactive, Hawkins should see a full allotment of minutes Wednesday. Through four games, Hawkins is averaging 14.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 29.3 minutes.

Marcus Smart

Goes to locker room Smart looked to turn his ankle stepping on Ziaire Williams' foot, an injury which resulted in a trip to the locker room. Wednesday's game is the first of a back-to-back, so the Grizzlies could opt to play it safe with Smart. While he's idle, Jaylen Wells, Scotty Pippen and John Konchar could see more minutes.

Josh Okogie

Absence to continue Thursday Okogie has yet to play this season, at a right hamstring strain will keep him sidelined once again Thursday. Rookie Ryan Dunn and Royce O'Neale have stepped up in his absence.

Bradley Beal

Deemed questionable Thursday Beal returned from a one-game absence with right elbow soreness to start and play 35 minutes Monday against the Lakers. He pops up on the injury report once again due to the elbow injury putting him at risk of missing a second contest. If he can't go, Royce O'Neale, Ryan Dunn and Damion Lee could see more action.

Andrew Wiggins

Officially a game-time decision Wiggins is dealing with back tightness, and a decision on his status will be made following his pregame warm-up routine. Stephen Curry (ankle) and De'Anthony Melton are already unavailable for Golden State on Wednesday.

Jalen Smith

Late scratch with knee injury Smith was questionable for Wednesday's contest with a sprained left ankle but was upgraded to available. However, he won't face the Magic with what the Bulls are calling left knee soreness. In his stead, Adama Sanogo and Torrey Craig should see more action. Smith's next chance to play will come Friday at Brooklyn.

Santi Aldama

Returning to bench Wednesday Aldama exits the starting lineup with Ja Morant (thigh) returning to action. Morant, Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart will start alongside Jaren Jackson and Zach Edey as the Grizzlies return to health.

Noah Clowney

Slides to bench Wednesday Clowney has averaged 17.0 minutes across four appearances this season, and entering the starting lineup Tuesday versus Denver did not yield a bump beyond that average. That being said, the second-year Alabama product will look to capitalize on Nic Claxton's (hamstring) vacated role Wednesday.

Ben Simmons

Part of first unit Simmons got the first leg of Brooklyn's back-to-back set off Tuesday, but he's active and starting Wednesday. With Nic Claxton (hamstring) sitting out, Simmons should see a minutes load in the mid-20s. He's averaging 5.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists across 24.0 minutes per game.

Lauri Markkanen

Deemed questionable for Thursday Markkanen left Tuesday's game against the Kings with back spasms, and he's at risk of missing Thursday's tilt due to the injury. Kyle Filipowski and John Collins would be first in line for minutes if Markkanen were to sit out.

Colin Castleton

Gets two-way deal with Memphis Castleton replaces Jay Huff as a two-way signee representing depth at the center position after Memphis converted Huff to a standard roster spot Monday. Castleton made 16 NBA appearances with the Lakers last year totaling 59 minutes of action.

Josh Hart

Officially active Hart was handed a questionable tag ahead of Wednesday's game due to a lower leg contusion. However, he made it through warmups without a setback and has been given the green light. Through three games, Hart is averaging 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals across 33 minutes.

Josh Hart

Trending towards playing Hart had X-rays come back negative on his lower leg, indicating merely a bruise and generating optimism for his availability Wednesday. Hart took a knee to shin during New York's loss to Cleveland on Monday.

Josh Richardson

Won’t play Wednesday Richardson has yet to play this season due to multiple injuries. First, he was dealing with shoulder and heel issues, but he now has a calf strain. In his absence, Alec Burks should remain part of the rotation.

Josh Green

Set for first start of season Green will look to build upon the 18 minutes of action he logged Friday against Atlanta. He starts alongside a defensively porous backcourt of LaMelo Ball and Seth Curry.

Jonathan Mogbo

Moves into starting lineup With Scottie Barnes (eye) and Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) in street clothes, Mogbo will make his first career start. Mogbo played 24 minutes off the bench during last week's win over the 76ers and posted 12 points, nine rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals.

Cody Martin

Coming off bench Wednesday Martin will join the second unit with Josh Green entering the starting lineup. Wednesday will mark Green's second appearance this season due to bouts of Achilles soreness, prompting just 18 minutes of action in his lone appearance thus far.

David Roddy

Getting starting nod With De'Andre Hunter (knee) and Dyson Daniels (hip) out, Roddy will make his first start as a Hawk. He totaled 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists a block and a steal in 39 minutes over his last two appearances.

Carlton Carrington

Back in starting lineup With Kyle Kuzma (groin) sidelined, Carrington slides back into the starting lineup and will be joined by Jordan Poole, Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George and Alex Sarr. Carrington has scored in double figures in back-to-back games and has played at least 20 minutes in all three of his regular-season appearances thus far.

Jonas Valanciunas

Coming off bench Wednesday Washington will roll with rookie Alex Sarr at center, flanked by the shooting of Kyshawn George and length of Bilal Coulibaly. Valanciunas has logged between 20 and 22 minutes in all three of Washington's contests thus far.

Kyshawn George

Set for first career start George enters Wednesday's contest averaging 23.0 minutes per game through Washington's first three contests -- representing an impressive and quick rise to the rotation for the rookie. Despite being the 24th overall selection in the 2024 Draft, George's size and shooting has immediately found a niche.

John Konchar

Active Wednesday Konchar's workload could be monitored in the front half of a back-to-back set for Memphis, but he will return to the rotation following a two-game absence due to right foot soreness. Ja Morant (thigh) has also been cleared to join him in the Grizzlies' backcourt.

Zach Edey

Shakes off questionable tag Edey will play through a sore right calf and likely remain in the starting lineup. However, it hasn't been a great start for the rookie. He's averaging only 7.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.3 blocks in 16.0 minutes through his first four regular-season appearances.

Jalen Smith

Good to go Wednesday Smith had been dealing with a left ankle sprain, but he will suit up as part of a fully healthy Bulls' frontcourt Wednesday. Smith enters the contest having knocked down seven of his last 11 three-point attempts.

Ja Morant

Will play Wednesday Morant has been upgraded from questionable to available and will return from a one-game absence due to right thigh soreness. The All-Star point guard posted two double-doubles through his first three games, averaging 20.7 points, 7.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 25.7 minutes per game.

Johnny Furphy

Actually available Wednesday Furphy was initially ruled out, but a correction was made minutes later. While he'll return from a one-game absence due to strep throat, Furphy isn't guaranteed playing time. He's made only one five-minute appearance during garbage time this season.

Johnny Furphy

Out again Wednesday Furphy will miss a second straight game due to strep throat. His absence shouldn't impact Indiana's rotation, as he's made only one five-minute appearance during garbage time this season.

Goga Bitadze

Confirmed unavailable Bitadze will miss a second consecutive contest while his next opportunity to take the court comes Friday versus Cleveland. Jonathan Isaac (hip) has been cleared for action Wednesday, otherwise bringing Orlando's frontcourt to full strength.

Jonathan Isaac

Will play Wednesday Isaac will suit up for his first outing since Orlando's season opener on Oct. 23. Jett Howard is a candidate to be bumped from the rotation, while Paulo Banchero could receive a few extra breathers following a mammoth week -- although Isaac will likely be slowly re-incorporated as well.

Brice Sensabaugh

Contributes 11 points Tuesday Sensabaugh posted the 10th double-digit scoring effort of his young career Tuesday, and he might be tasked with a slight uptick in usage after Taylor Hendricks suffered a season-ending leg injury. Sensabaugh has averaged 14.8 minutes while appearing in all four of Utah's contests to thus far.

D'Angelo Russell

Cleared to play Russell was initially listed as questionable but got upgraded to probable a few hours before tipoff, suggesting the back issue is minor. After a quiet start to the season, the Lakers' starting point guard has totaled 30 points, 13 assists, five boards and two steals over his last two appearances.

LeBron James

Good to go After an 11-point dud against the Suns on Monday, James said during his postgame interview that he's been dealing with a minor illness, but it's nothing that'll keep him out of game action. James posted 32 points (12-22 FG), 14 rebounds and 10 assists against the Kings on Saturday, but other than that triple-double, his production has been modest given his standards, averaging 16.0 points, 6.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds in his other three appearances.

Isaiah Jackson

Set to start Wednesday Jackson steps into the starting lineup to face the Celtics after starting just three contests last season. Coach Rick Carlilse also noted that "Obi Toppin will have to be ready to play some 5, as well as Jarace Walker and potentially Enrique Freeman,"

Immanuel Quickley

Downgraded to out As expected, Quickley will miss a fourth straight game due to a pelvis injury he sustained during Toronto's regular-season opener. The Raptors announced Wednesday that Scottie Barnes is expected to miss at least three weeks after being diagnosed with an orbital fracture, so they'll need Quickely back in action as quickly as possible, with his next chance coming Friday against the Lakers. In Quickley's absence, Davion Mitchell should start at point guard again, but RJ Barrett will presumably run the offense.

Christian Koloko

Will eventually ramp up in G League Koloko will report the South Bay Lakers to start the G League season, although his timing for returning to on-court action is still to be determined. Koloko's health following blood clot issue continues being overseen by the NBA's Fitness-to-Play Panel, but he gradually progressing in becoming fully cleared.

Kyle Filipowski

Near double-double in elevated role With Taylor Hendricks (ankle) likely done for the season and Lauri Markkanen (back) leaving Tuesday's contest early, Filipowski made the most of his expanded role. He totaled just nine minutes in the previous three contests, so it's unclear what the rookie's role will be moving forward, especially if Markkanen isn't sidelined long-term. However, if Markkanen is sidelined, Filipowski should have a clear path to consistent minutes.

Khris Middleton

Remains out Middleton hasn't been cleared for 5-on-5 work and remains without a return timetable, but the Bucks continue to treat him as day-to-day. Taurean Prince continues to start at small forward in Middleton's absence, while the latter's next chance to suit up will come Saturday versus Cleveland.

Maxi Kleber

Won’t play Thursday Kleber will be sidelined for a third consecutive game due to a right hamstring strain. Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively will continue starring at the center position, although Kleber's ongoing absence removes the element of shooting from the Mavericks' center position.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Probable for Thursday Antetokounmpo continues to be listed on the injury report with right patella tendinitis, but he's yet to miss a game. He's recorded a double-double in each of Milwaukee's first four games, averaging 28.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 34.5 minutes per game.

Steven Adams

Questionable for Thursday Adams not having a clear diagnosis could be attributed to load management considerations for the veteran, as he dealt with knee and calf injuries up until his season debut on Monday. His status will need to be monitored as the Rockets could exercise an abundance of caution even with Adams only having played in one game thus far.

De'Andre Hunter

Officially out Wednesday Hunter's perennially troubling right knee will continue to be managed cautiously by Atlanta. His next opportunity to overcome his ongoing bout of inflammation is Friday versus Sacramento.

Jaylin Williams

Suffers setback Williams had been nursing a right hamstring strain throughout preseason, and the big man's ramp up has now been halted entirely. Oklahoma City has made due without much center depth while Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) has also been unavailable, so it's reasonable to expect various guard-heavy lineups to continue being deployed.

Sam Hauser

Available Wednesday As expected, Hauser gets the green light after missing three straight games due to a back issue. In his lone appearance this season, Hauser posted 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five rebounds and an assist in 24 minutes off the bench.

Myles Turner

Officially unavailable Wednesday Turner was a weapon against Boston in last year's postseason, but Isaiah Jackson will be tasked with enlarged duties Wednesday. Turner's injury marks a significant absence for a Pacers' squad still looking to settle into rhythm on both ends.

Vasilije Micic

Will play Wednesday Micic will suit up for his fourth consecutive contest while the Hornets' backcourt continues to play without Brandon Miller (hip). Micic hasn't been the most reliable floor general, which stands in stark contrast to his European resume, but he will look to continue settling in against a Toronto squad lacking Scottie Barnes (eye) on Wednesday.

Dyson Daniels

Fourth-year option exercised Daniels has stepped in as an impactful defender in Atlanta's rotation after being acquired from New Orleans in the offseason. The 2025-26 campaign will mark the final year of his rookie contract.

Kobe Bufkin

Team option exercised Bufkin's ongoing recovery from a shoulder subluxation is a multi-week timeline, and durability continues to be an issue for the young guard, who also spent time the G League last season but has logged just 17 NBA appearances. Nonetheless, his development is a priority for the Hawks.

Jordan Hawkins

Dealing with back spasms Hawkins' status will need to be monitored with CJ McCollum (adductor) muscle, Herbert Jones (shoulder) and Trey Murphy (hamstring) all unavailable Wednesday. If cleared, it's unclear if Hawkins would start or come off the bench.

Herbert Jones

Ruled out Wednesday Jones is dealing with a right shoulder strain -- which is a promising diagnosis as opposed to a dislocation of any type after his arm was fallen on while chasing a loose ball. Jones' next opportunity to take the court comes Friday versus Indiana.

CJ McCollum

Unavailable Wednesday McCollum will miss his first game of the season after averaging 34.3 minutes throughout New Orleans' first four contest. Herbert Jones (shoulder strain) is also unavailable Wednesday, while Jordan Hawkins (back) is a game-time decision.

David Roddy

Future option declined Roddy has been sharp across two appearances with Atlanta, compiling 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes. His $4.8 million cap hit is enough for Atlanta to send them to free agency at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, however.

LeBron James

Dealing with illness James joins D'Angelo Russell (back) as probable. James being regarded as probable, instead of questionable, with the afternoon introduction of an illness still puts him on track to play against Cleveland, potentially indicate merely a minor ailment.

Austin Reaves

Good to go Wednesday Reaves overcomes a left thigh contusion and will suit up Wednesday night. D'Angelo Russell (back) has upgraded from questionable to probable, and his eventual clearance would put the Lakers' backcourt at full strength.

D'Angelo Russell

Ascends to probable Russell entered Wednesday with a questionable designation, but he appears to be trending in the right direction. Austin Reaves (thigh) was listed as questionable earlier in the day as well, but he is officially cleared to play.

Peyton Watson

Chips in seven points Watson logged a season-high 20 minutes of action Tuesday. A stellar defender, Watson incrementally improving his offensive game will be something to monitor throughout Denver's season.

Julian Strawther

Minor impact in win Strawther has been a consistent part of the rotation through Denver's first four games, although his offensive volume has been inconsequential. He has connected on five of nine three-point attempts to start the season, however.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Solid contributions in loss Alexander-Walker was effective offensively while having similar workloads to Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo as headliners of the second unit. Mike Conley only logged 22 minutes, with Alexander-Walker helping crowdsource point guard duties in his off minutes.

Mike Conley

Quiet scoring night Conley matched Donte DiVincenzo with six assists while Julius Randle had a team-high of seven. Rookie point guard Rob Dillingham did not play in Tuesday's contest.

Quentin Grimes

Hits his threes Grimes entered Tuesday's contest having missed his first three three-point attempts of the season. The 24-year-old has upside to become a consistent shooter in the Mavericks' offense.

Naji Marshall

Snags two steals Marshall had a limited offensive impact Tuesday, although his small-scale versatility is still symbolic of his game. He remains Dallas' top forward off the bench.

Spencer Dinwiddie

Quiet despite decent workload Dinwiddie log the seventh most playing time among Mavericks on Tuesday, trailing only the starters and Dereck Lively's half of the team's center platoon. Through three appearances, nine of his 10 shots have come from beyond the arc.

Goga Bitadze

Ascends to questionable Bitadze entered Wednesday with a doubtful designation as he battles a strained tendon in his left foot. He and Jonathan Isaac (hip) are both questionable, with Bitadze trending in the right direction.

Ben Simmons

Available to play After sitting out Tuesday's game against the Nuggets for rest, Simmons has the green light to return and isn't listed on the official injury report. Going forward, Simmons is expected to play in just one game of back-to-back sets for the foreseeable future.

Trendon Watford

Ruled out for Wednesday No surprise here, as Watford remains without an official timetable to return. His next chance to play will be Friday against the Bulls.

Bojan Bogdanovic

Out again Wednesday Bogdanovic will miss a fifth-straight regular-season game while recovering from left foot surgery, and he remains without a timetable for a return. Consider him questionable for Friday's game against the Bulls.

Scottie Barnes

Out at least three weeks This is a brutal blow to the Raptors. Barnes will be re-evaluated in three weeks, so it's not a guarantee he returns right away. Based on this timetable, he'll miss at least the next 11 games, with the earliest possible return date being Nov. 21 against Minnesota. In Barnes' absence, guys like Ochai Agbaji, Chris Boucher, Jamal Shead and Jonathan Mogbo will be candidates for increased minutes, and it's fair to expect RJ Barrett to see a massive spike in usage rate for the foreseeable future.

Mark Williams

Team option picked up Williams (foot) has yet to make an appearance this season and remains without an official timetable. Injuries aside, the upside is clear with Williams, and the Hornets made it official Wednesday that he's absolutely still in their future plans.

Nick Smith

Team option exercised This wasn't in any doubt. Although Smith isn't in Charlotte's rotation right now, he remains an intriguing developmental piece for the future.

Brandon Miller

Team option picked up This was a mere formality for the Hornets, as Miller is poised to be a key player for the franchise for many years to come. Miller is currently sidelined by a hip injury and is set to be re-evaluated at the beginning of November.

Goga Bitadze

Unlikely to play Wednesday Bitadze appears likely to miss his second straight contest. He's played a total of 16 minutes in his first three appearances, however, so his status most likely won't have a big impact on the rotation.

Vasilije Micic

Questionable for Wednesday Micic was a late addition to the injury report for Charlotte. With Tre Mann playing so well off the bench, Micic is averaging just 15.0 minutes per contest through three games.

Josh Richardson

Iffy for Wednesday After previously battling shoulder and heel injuries, Richardson is now considered day-to-day with this new issue. He wasn't on the injury report for Monday's game against the Pistons, but he never saw the floor.

Jalen Wilson

Productive off bench After scoring a combined two points in his previous two outings, Wilson got back on track Tuesday night. His strong performance on Opening Night turned some heads, and he again showed fantasy managers why he's so intriguing with a double-digit effort against Denver in the overtime loss. Fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on him going forward, especially when the Nets are shorthanded.

Ziaire Williams

Drains four threes off bench The former Grizzly put together his best game so far with the Nets, setting season highs in points, threes and assists. Williams has had a significant role on the second unit to begin 2024-25, but his usage will likely shrink once Bojan Bogdanovic (foot) is ready to make his season debut.

Cameron Johnson

Strong showing in OT loss The 28-year-old forward set new highs on the young season in points, boards, assists and made threes, although it wasn't enough to get the Nets into the win column. Johnson has scored at least 12 points in all four games so far in 2024-25, but as yet he isn't showing signs of taking a big step forward from his numbers the last couple of campaigns, remaining in a complementary role despite Brooklyn's need for someone to emerge as a lead dog on offense.

Cam Thomas

Hits for 26 in OT loss to Denver The fourth-year guard continues to fill up the bucket. Thomas has scored at least 24 points in four straight games to begin the season, and he's seeing incredible shot volume so far -- he's averaging 21.8 FG attempts per game, tied for sixth in the NBA with Cade Cunningham, and his 7.3 FT attempts a contest also puts him in the top 20 in the league. As long as Thomas is seeing elite usage, a career-best campaign should follow.

Kyle Anderson

Held to one point Considering how many key players were missing for Golden State, this was a brutal dud for Anderson. He's off to an eerily quiet start with his new team, averaging 2.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while hitting 22.2 percent from the field through four games.

Collin Sexton

Struggles off bench Sexton was replaced by Jordan Clarkson in the starting lineup who put up 21 points (8-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists. This is bad news for Sexton's fantasy value, and it doesn't help that he couldn't generate anything offensively Tuesday night.

Russell Westbrook

Efficient effort in OT win After failing to score in double digits during his first three games with Denver, Westbrook broke out Tuesday by drawing plenty of contact and converting at the free-throw line. The 35-year-old guard averaged a career-low 11.1 points a game with the Clippers in 2023-24 and likely won't be a consistent offensive threat at this stage of his career, but he can still deliver occasional upside from the Nuggets' second unit.

Malik Monk

Notches seven points Monk couldn't find his rhythm Tuesday night, but fantasy managers will at least appreciate that his usage rate remained sturdy. He's off to a quiet start this campaign, posting averages of 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 three-pointers through four outings.

Aaron Gordon

Drops 24 on Nets It's the best scoring performance of the season so far for Gordon, who appears to have put in some work on his shooting during the offseason. After sagging to 29.0 percent shooting from three-point range and 65.8 percent at the free-throw line in 2023-24, The veteran forward has come out of the gates firing this season by shooting 40.0 percent (4-for-10) from beyond the arc and 85.7 percent (18-for-21) from the charity stripe. While the samples are small, any improvement from Gordon in those areas would go a long toward bolstering the Nuggets' offense behind Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Jamal Murray

Hits for 24 in Tuesday’s OT win Despite a minor ankle injury he seemingly picked up Monday against the Raptors, Murray produced a season-high 24 points and saw his usual workload. The veteran point guard is still struggling to find his offense, shooting just 37.3 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three-point range through four games, but his usage gives him a high fantasy floor even when he's not locked in with his shot.

CJ McCollum

Struggles with shot This was a nightmate showing for McCollum as the Pelicans were blown out by the Warriors, dropping the team to 2-2 on the season. McCollum had scored at least 20 points in his previous three games, so fantasy managers should chalk this up as an off night for the veteran guard.

Naz Reid

Just misses double-double Tuesday The 25-year-old big came up just short of his second double-double in four games to begin the season while recording his first block of 2024-25. Reid hasn't seen a big jump in his workload with Julius Randle replacing Karl-Anthony Towns in Minnesota's starting lineup, but he's been busier on the glass, averaging 7.5 rebounds through four game after setting a career high last season with 5.2 boards a contest.

Julius Randle

Impressive in Tuesday’s loss The veteran forward posted his best all-around performance yet for Minnesota, scoring at least 20 points for the third straight game and recording his first steals or blocks on the young season. Randle appears to be fitting in well in the Timberwolves' frontcourt, and he's been locked in from downtown, going 10-for-16 (62.5 percent) from three-point range.

Luka Doncic

Teases triple-double against Minny Despite a minor knee injury he suffered late in the second quarter, Doncic still saw his biggest workload of 2024-25 in a rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals. The 25-year-old superstar has dished eight or more assists in three of four games so far while pulling down at least eight rebounds in each contest.

Kyrie Irving

Pours in 35 in Tuesday’s win It's the best performance of the young season for Irving, who carried the scoring load for the Mavs while Luka Doncic dealt with a minor knee injury he picked up late in the second quarter. Irving has been impressive from beyond the arc through four games, draining multiple threes in every contest while shooting 53.8 percent (14-for-26).

Kenrich Williams

Assigned to G League Williams is still ramping up after undergoing right knee surgery in September, but this transaction is an indication that he's getting closer to a return.

Evan Mobley

Logs 17/8/1 line in win The front court duo of Mobley and Jarrett Allen are as lethal as ever to begin the season, and they're a big reason behind Cleveland's scintillating 4-0 start. Mobley sports similar results to Allen through four games, averaging 17.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and a whopping 2.5 blocks per game.

Donovan Mitchell

Goes for 25 points in win The Cavs are off to a hot start to begin the Kenny Atkinson era in Cleveland, and it's business as usual for Mitchell. He's converting 50 percent of his shots and averaging a solid 23.8 points per game during a brilliant 4-0 stint.

Keyonte George

Shooting woes continue George delivered his first double-double of the season, but he also posted his worst scoring mark of the campaign, and the shooting woes are simply too glaring to ignore. Through four games, the second-year guard is shooting just 26.2 percent from the field and 22.6 percent from deep. That's not going to cut it, especially considering how much he has the ball in his hands. Fantasy managers should trust George to turn things around, but his lack of efficiency is limiting his upside.

Jordan Clarkson

Leads Utah in scoring Clarkson started for the first time this season and delivered his best output of the campaign, showing improved efficiency with his shot and reaching the 20-point mark for the first time this season. Clarkson is battling for the starting role at the two-guard spot with Collin Sexton, and there's no question the 11-year veteran took advantage of the opportunity here. He will be reliable in fantasy regardless of his role due to his scoring prowess, but his upside would gain a few ticks in case he secures a permanent starting nod.

Jarrett Allen

Logs second double-double of season The Cavs are rolling early, and coach Kenny Atkinson inherited one of the most experienced first-unit groups in the league. Allen and Evan Mobley form an imposing backcourt presence, and both are playing at a very high level in the opening weeks of the season. The Cavs are now 4-0, and Allen averaged 17.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots during the scoring streak.

Karl-Anthony Towns

Records double-double in loss Towns put together a solid line before fouling out. It's easy to rack up penalties when you're mixing it up with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, who held court in the paint for most of the game. The Knicks are still looking for their first win, but early outcomes suggest a fairly seamless transition for Towns in a new uniform.

Cody Williams

Minimal output in starting role Williams moved to the starting lineup following the leg injury sustained by Taylor Hendricks, but the rookie had a rough time in the first start of his NBA career. Williams should eventually improve as the season progresses, but he shouldn't carry a lot of fantasy upside right now even if he's seeing regular starter-level minutes.

Brandon Ingram

Pours in 30 points in loss Ingram and Zion Williamson carried the team during Tuesday's loss, and they were the only players to finish with double-digit scoring. He's started off the season with a bang, averaging 24.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists over the first four games.

Zion Williamson

records season-hgh 31 points Williamson enjoyed his best performance of the season in the loss. Adie from Brandon Ingram, Williamson was the only player to log double-digit points for the Pelicans. That's not a good recipe for success, as the duo will need better evenings from CJ McCollum and Herbert Jones to insure success. Trey Murphy's (hamstring) eventual return will help matters, bit Williamson is expected to carry a heavy load in the meantime.

Lindy Waters

Steps up with 21 points Waters entered the lineup after early struggles from the frontcourt starters and responded with an excellent line. Coach Steve Kerr rode the hot hand and kept him in the lineup, exploring the depth of his squad with several key pieces absent. Waters joins the Warriors after riding the bench for the Thunder for three seasons.

Moses Moody

Logs 17 points in spot start Coach Steve Kerr elected to give Moody the start in place of Jonathan Kuminga, who has struggled with his shot over the team's first three games. Moody gave way to Kuminga eventually, but he managed a strong line despite playing only 17 minutes. Kuminga's shot was more accurate during the victory, but Kerr may implement a platoon at the position in the short term.

DeMar DeRozan

Scores 20 points Tuesday DeRozan finished just two assists away from a double-double, but there's no question his scoring performance was eye-popping -- particularly from the efficiency department. It's only been four games, but DeRozan seems to be integrating quite well into the offense alongside De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. The veteran scorer is putting up 23.0 points per game while shooting 55.2 percent from the field, but perhaps the most impressive stat is the fact that he's recorded at least 20 points in each of his four outings.

Domantas Sabonis

Efficient double-double Tuesday Sabonis led the NBA in double-doubles in the 2023-24 season and should be one of the strongest candidates to do so again in 2024-25. He's already posted one triple-double and two double-doubles in four appearances this season, so his role as an elite two-way threat for the Kings should continue, meaning the arrival of DeMar DeRozan shouldn't affect Sabonis' overall fantasy production. Through four contests, Sabonis is already averaging 24.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest.
