Ricky Council IV signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-way contract in July 2023. He played for both the Sixers and the G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. Council averaged 23.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game with the Blue Coats during the 2023-24 season.

Council was signed to an NBA Contract in April 2024. Ricky appeared in 32 games with the Sixers during the 2023-24 season, averaging 5.4 points per game and shooting 48.3% from the field. Council tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds off the bench on February 10, 2024 at Washington, becoming the seventh rookie in team history to do so.
