2000/2001 Philadelphia 76ers Reunion Game on January 31st

As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the ‘00/‘01 Eastern Conference Championship team, the Philadelphia 76ers are announcing they will host a reunion game for the ‘00/‘01 team and coaching staff this season.

On January 31, as the 76ers take on the New Orleans Pelicans, the team will honor the legendary players and coaches who electrified the city, taking the 76ers to the NBA Finals. Presented by Crypto.com, the night will be packed with powerful tributes—pre-game, in-game and at halftime— honoring the grit, heart, and legacy of that squad.

The current ‘25/‘26 76ers roster will don their black Hardwood Classic uniforms on January 31st, paying homage to that era. The throwback uniforms will also be worn for 13 additional home games at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

HIP-HOP, HE’S BACK!

As part of the Philadelphia 76ers’ celebration of the 25th anniversary of the ’01 Eastern Conference Championship team, no celebration would be complete without the return of one of the era’s most memorable mascots, Hip-Hop. Born in 1998, Hip-Hop captivated 76ers fans for over a decade with his flips, tricks, and style that made the 2001 run as unforgettable as the play on the floor.

This season, Hip-Hop returned, alongside his friend Franklin, for a season of tributes to the ’01 team. Hip-Hop will be back on center court with his signature swagger, charismatic and entertaining style that fans loved from that era. Specific game dates and activations with Hip-Hop will be announced throughout the season. The 76ers paid tribute to Hip-Hop at the Saturday, November 8th game vs. Toronto Raptors.
