JUNIOR TRAINING CAMPS
Pelicans Junior Training Camp engrosses participants in health and fitness activities geared toward creating a fun and memorable basketball experience.
JUNIOR PELICANS LEAGUES
Our Jr. Pelicans Leagues are part of a wider network of Jr. NBA leagues, which allow every youth athlete to develop fundamental basketball skills and learn the core values of the game.
JUNIOR PELICANS GAME DAY CLINICS
Youth athletes can participate in several game day hoop experiences prior to the Pelicans taking the floor at the Smoothie King Center. Contact our Groups Services team to book your experience!
JUNIOR PELICANS COACH OF THE YEAR
Fans are encouraged to annually nominate an influential youth basketball coach in our community and highlight the impactful work that they do for our game.
COURT REFURBISHMENTS
The New Orleans Pelicans partner with local organizations to provide children with a safe place to enjoy the game of basketball and foster a healthy and active lifestyle.
COASTAL RESTORATION
PARTNERSHIP WITH AUDUBON
The Pelicans and Audubon Nature Institute are teaming up in a commitment to preserve Louisiana’s coastal wetlands and educate on environmental issues in our community.
HANCOCK WHITNEY ZOO-TO-DO
Our annual auction allows fans to help raise funds to support our effort with Audubon Institute to save the coastal wetlands.
WETLAND EXPRESS
The Wetland Express is a mobile educational program that offers an up-close, hands-on experience with some of our wetland’s most important inhabitants.

The Pelicans Math Hoops Program presented by Chevron provides students with a fun and interactive way to learn math skills.
ACME READING TIMEOUT
The ACME Truck Line Reading Time Out provides students that display good behavior in the classroom with an interactive reading experience featuring Pelicans players and personalities.
CHEVRON STEM ZONE
At the Chevron STEM Zone, kids learn how Science, Technology, Engineering and Math play a vital role in their future success and what producing energy has to do with basketball.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH
The New Orleans Pelicans are committed to celebrating Black History Month with our annual Essay Contest, Game Changer Award, and Coaches Symposium.
