Bulls rookie Coby White continues historic scoring binge

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White posted his third consecutive 30-point game on Tuesday night, as the rookie scored a career-high 35 points in a 124-122 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

White becomes the first rookie in NBA history to score 30 or more points off the bench in three straight games. He scored 33 points in back-to-back games against Phoenix and Washington over the weekend, and followed that up with a career night against Oklahoma City, knocking down 13-of-21 shots from the floor and 6-of-9 from 3-point range.

“All the hard work is paying off, I guess,” White said.

White joins Michael Jordan as the only Bulls rookies to score at least 30 points in three straight games.

White has totaled 101 points over his past three games and now has the most 30-point games this season by a rookie. Kendrick Nunn, Eric Paschall and Zion Williamson each have two apiece.
