SAN FRANCISCO — The Golden State Warriors have unveiled a new secondary logo and Statement Edition uniform ahead of the 2024-25 season, it was announced today. The new logo, created in collaboration with Silverstein Goodby & Partners Design, features a W mimicking a basketball net after a ball has gone through. The secondary logo will be featured prominently on the Warriors’ Statement Edition uniform and will be visible on the belt buckle of the team’s Association and Icon uniforms.

Golden State’s new Statement Edition uniform features a bold black and gray colorway with hints of Warriors’ blue and gold. The Bay Bridge is represented on the uniform as a sloping cable connecting the jersey to the shorts, while the textural elements mimic the inner wires of the cables that support the Bay Bridge. The team’s newly unveiled secondary logo is featured prominently on the shorts.

“We have the ability to redesign our Statement Edition uniform every three years, and we wanted to take full advantage of this unique opportunity,” said Warriors Senior Vice President of Marketing Amanda Chin. “Aligning the launch of our new secondary logo with our 2024-25 Statement Edition uniform allowed us to highlight a new part of our core identity in a bold and exciting way.”

Statement Edition merchandise, including a limited-edition t-shirt and pullover, is available now as part of The Statement Edition Collection Designed by Benny Gold. Merchandise can be purchased in-store at Warriors Shop or online at shop.warriors.com.

“The Warriors are widely considered to have the greatest shooting backcourt in the game’s history,” said Gold, who designed the logo for SG&P Design. “The new logo represents the team’s renowned style of play by combining a ‘W’ for Warriors with a net symbolizing 3-point shooting. The monogram is designed to resemble a basketball net and rim, with the slight arch in the ‘W’ giving the impression of a ball dropping through the net.”

All Warriors practice and game jerseys, including the 2024-25 Statement Edition uniform, will continue to feature the Rakuten badge on the upper left corner.

The Warriors will unveil new City Edition and Classic Edition uniforms for the upcoming season at a later date.
