Stephen Curry leads top-selling jerseys so far this season

The Lakers and Celtics led the NBA in merchandise sales from the first half of the 2024-25 season.

The National Basketball Association and National Basketball Players Association today jointly announced that the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and the 2024 NBA Champion Boston Celtics secured the top spots on the NBA’s Top-Selling Jersey and Team Merchandise lists, respectively, based on NBAStore.com sales for the first half of the 2024-25 regular season.

The Celtics appear at No. 1 on the Team Merchandise list for the first time in 17 years, while Curry sits atop the Top-Selling Jerseys rankings for the third consecutive list.

 

Additional highlights include the following:

  • The Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards (No. 6), Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (No. 11) and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell (No. 15) each make their debut on the Most Popular Jersey list.
  • In his second appearance on the list, the New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson (No. 4) makes a big leap after appearing at No. 15 at the end of the 2023-24 regular season.
  • Nine players on the list have been named starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Chase Center in San Francisco.

Six teams featured on the list will be in action tomorrow on ESPN and ABC as part of an action-packed day of basketball, which begins at noon ET on ESPN as the Indiana Pacers take on the San Antonio Spurs in the second of two NBA Paris Games presented by Tissot.

NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC features a tripleheader that tips off with the Denver Nuggets visiting the Timberwolves in a Western Conference Semifinals rematch at 3 p.m. ET, followed by the Celtics facing the Dallas Mavericks in a 2024 NBA Finals rematch at 5:30 p.m. ET. The schedule concludes with an iconic rivalry reignited when LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers square off against Curry and the Warriors at 8:30 p.m. ET.
