SALT LAKE CITY — Romeo Weems scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 104-65 victory over the Utah Jazz Blue in the Salt Lake City Summer League on Tuesday at Vivint Arena.

Weems had an efficient outing, shooting 5-for-7 from the field, including 2-for-2 from long range, in 19 minutes off the bench. Desmond Bane followed up with 14 points on 5-for-12 shooting in 22 minutes. Xavier Tillman came up large with 11 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

The Grizzlies took control early in the contest with a 29-12 lead after one quarter. They kept the pressure on in the second, and pushed their lead to 57-28 by halftime. The Jazz Blue had no answers in the second half and finished the contest with 22 turnovers while shooting 32.9% from the field.

Joe Chealey scored a team-high 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting to lead the Jazz Blue. Justin Patton was the only other player to score in double digits, with 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.
