The fourth overall pick of the 2020 Draft, Williams has battled through injuries while establishing a reliable outside shot to pair with his versatile defensive skillset. The 22-year-old shot 39.9% from 3-point range last season while averaging 10 points and 3.9 rebounds.
The reported re-signing is another key move for the Bulls, who recently traded veteran guard Alex Caruso to Oklahoma City in exchange for 21-year-old playmaker Josh Giddey.
The Bulls also have decisions to make regarding unrestricted free agents DeMar DeRozan, Andre Drummond and Javonte Green.
