Hours after losing Kevin Durant to Brooklyn, the Warriors have reportedly landed a deal to acquire Nets All-Star point guard D’Angelo Russell. After Shams Charania of The Athletic initially reported the deal was close to being agreed upon, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the sign-and-trade transaction had been approved by both teams.

Wojnarowski adds that, in order to free up the requisite cap space for Russell, the Warriors have agreed to trade Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies along with a protected future first-round pick.

Reports: Heat trying to finalize deal for Butler

The Miami Heat were not thought to be big players in free agency this summer, but that changed when everything opened on Sunday night.

Per multiple reports, the Heat are trying to put the finishing touches on a sign-and-trade deal with the Philadelphia 76ers that will land them guard Jimmy Butler. The swingman has reportedly agreed to a four-year, $142 million deal, but Miami and Philadelphia were still working out some aspects of the swap, such as the addition of Dallas as the third team.

The Heat are reportedly sending Josh Richardson to Philadelphia as part of the deal and, at one point, guard Goran Dragic was on the move to Dallas in the trade.

However, the status of the deal seems to be held up as of early Monday morning.

Pelicans reportedly trading for Jazz’s Favors

In agreeing to reported deals with Bogdan Bogdanovic and Ed Davis in the opening hours of Sunday’s frenzy, the Utah Jazz have moved in a different direction with some of their frontcourt for 2019-20.

That means Derrick Favors, who has been with the Jazz since 2011, is on his way out of town and headed a little closer to his home state of Georgia. Per multiple reports, the New Orleans Pelicans are set to acquire Favors via a trade. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Pelicans are sending 2012 and 2023 picks — which are both from the Golden State Warriors — to the Jazz as part of the deal.

Kings reportedly add veteran guard Joseph

The Sacramento Kings are trying to keep pace in the Western Conference roster-building race this offseason. They started out by getting Harrison Barnes to agree to a new deal and adding spring center Dewayne Dedmon as well, too.

Attention has reportedly shifted to the backcourt as the Kings and veteran point guard Cory Joseph have agreed to a three-year, $37 million deal, reports Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Joseph spent the last two seasons with the Indiana Pacers, and before that logged two seasons with the Toronto Raptors after spending his first four NBA seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.

Overall, he has career averages of 6.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 528 career games.

Report: Bullock to join Knicks

Reggie Bullock becomes the latest reported addition for the Knicks, who continue to add role players after missing out on superstar talent. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Bullock will sign with New York for two years and $21 million.

The 28-year-old swingman played 63 total games with the Lakers and Pistons last season, averaging 11.3 points while shooting 37.7 percent from 3-point range.

Beverley set to rejoin Clippers

Patrick Beverley has made a career out of scrapping for everything he earns. It paid off early Monday morning when he confirmed reports of his return to the Clippers for a three-year, $40 million contract.

Beverley served as a veteran leader and defensive pest for the Clippers, who defied expectations en route to 48 wins and taking the Warriors to six games in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The former second-round pick averaged 7.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists last season, his seventh in the NBA and second with LA.

Report: Murray agrees to max extension with Nuggets

After coming within a game of the Western Conference finals, Denver is reportedly ensuring its young core remains intact.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the Nuggets have come to terms on a five-year, $170 million extension for Jamal Murray. The seventh overall pick in the 2016 Draft, Murray averaged career-highs in points (18.2), rebounds (4.2) and assists (4.8) per game last season.

Murray (22) joins Nikola Jokic (24) and Gary Harris (24) as young, key players that Denver has under contract for the foreseeable future. The Nuggets extended the Portland Trail Blazers to Game 7 in the Western Conference semifinals, the end of the franchise’s first postseason appearance since 2013.

Report: Portis to accept Knicks offer sheet

The Knicks continue to gather frontcout help, this time from Washington. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that New York and Bobby Portis have come to terms on a two-year, $31 million offer sheet. Because he is a restricted free agent, Portis could remain with the Wizards if they decide to match the Knicks’ offer. Fred Katz of The Athletic, however, reports that Washington has no plans to do so.

In 50 total games divided between the Bulls and Wizards last season, Portis averaged 14.2 points and 8.1 rebounds while shooting a career-high 39.3 percent from 3-point range.

Report: Robin Lopez to join brother Brook Lopez in Milwaukee

One Lopez brother worked out so well, the Bucks apparently figured getting the other one would be even better.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that Milwaukee has come to terms with free agent center Robin Lopez. The veteran big man brings an added dose of rebounding and interior defense to the Bucks, who came within two games of the NBA Finals last season. The 31-year-old Lopez averaged 9.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in his third season with Chicago.

Report: Thompson, Warriors agree to five-year deal

Not many thought Klay Thompson would leave the Warriors, and that appears to be the case. Klay Thompson has agreed to sign a five-year, $190 million contract to remain in Golden State, per multiple reports.

Thompson sustained a torn ACL in his left knee during Game 6 of The Finals and is in the midst of a lengthy recovery process.

Thompson has had seven straight seasons with at least 200 3-pointers, tied with Stephen Curry for the most in NBA history. He has eight straight seasons of shooting at least 40 percent from beyond the arc, which is the league’s second-longest active streak in the NBA behind Curry. His 1,798 career 3s are 16th all time. Thompson, the 11th overall pick in the 2011 Draft, is a five-time All-Star and two-time third-team All-NBA player averaging 19.5 points and 42 percent 3-point shooting in his career.

Reserve big man Mike Muscala has reportedly agreed to sign with Oklahoma City, per Adrian Wojnarowski. The 6-foot-11 veteran averaged 7.0 points and 3.8 rebounds last season in 64 total games for the Lakers and 76ers.

The Blazers will reportedly take a two-year, minimum flyer on Mario Hezonja, per Adrian Wojnarowski. The former fifth overall pick averaged 8.8 points and 4.1 rebounds for the Knicks last season.

Reports: Jazz to sign Ed Davis

After financially committing to Bojan Bogdanovic — and letting Derrick Favors go as a result — Utah has reportedly refortified its frontcourt by signing free agent big man Ed Davis. Adrian Wojnarowski adds that the deal is for two years and $10 million.

A nine-year veteran, Davis averaged 5.8 points and 8.6 rebounds in just 17.9 minutes per game for the Nets last season. The former lottery pick joins a rebuilt Jazz roster that will also include Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.

Report: Noel reconsidering commitment to Thunder

Nerlens Noel, drafted No. 6 by the Philadelphia 76ers as part of their vaunted “Process” in 2013, has been traded twice since. But he settled into a bench role with the Oklahoma City Thunder last season, playing a career-high 77 games while averaging 4.9 points and 1.2 blocks in 13.5 minutes.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski initially reported that Noel has agreed to return and help the Thunder attempt to advance beyond the first round in a wide-open Western Conference. Later, however, Wojnarowski reported that Noel has since asked Oklahoma City for time to reconsider that commitment, and that both sides are continuing discussions.

Reports: Thaddeus Young headed to Chicago

The Bulls’ rebuild will be supplemented by veteran presence in the form of Thaddeus Young. According to multiple reports, Young has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $41 million contract with the Bulls.

Young averaged 12.6 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 34.9 percent from 3 last season for the Pacers. The 31-year-old forward has put up double-figure scoring numbers in every season since 2008.

Report: Jordan to join Durant, Irving in Brooklyn

The Nets’ rebuild is reportedly set. After years of operating without their own draft picks and scrounging for undervalued talent from other teams, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Brooklyn is on the verge of adding former All-NBA center DeAndre Jordan along with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency. In order to make such a union possible, Durant and Irving will reportedly accept less than maximum-salary deals to allow Jordan to sign for four years and $40 million.

After playing with the Clippers for 10 seasons, Jordan was traded to the Knicks in January as New York sought to carve out max cap space for this summer’s free agent shopping spree. Instead it appears Brooklyn is the New York destination chosen by Durant, Irving and now Jordan, who has averaged at least 10 points and 13 rebounds over the last six seasons.

The free agent trio joins a roster that still includes Caris LeVert, 2019 3-Point Contest winner Joe Harris, athletic big man Jarrett Allen and sixth man point guard Spencer Dinwiddie.

Brooklyn native Taj Gibson is reportedly set to sign with the New York Knicks, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The deal is detailed to be for two years and $20 million.

The 34-year-old power forward averaged 10.8 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Timberwolves last season.

Al Horford was a prime free agent catch for the Boston Celtics three seasons ago, marking the beginning of their ascent toward Eastern Conference contention.

After a surprisingly turbulent season that ended in a five-game “gentleman’s sweep” at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals, Horford will reportedly be attempting to boost a division rival over the top.

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Horford has agreed to a four-year, $109 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

On a landmark day of big-name signings, the Nets aren’t forgetting the importance of role players. Marc Spears of ESPN reports that Garrett Temple is expected to sign a two-year, $10 million contract with Brooklyn.

The 33-year-old swingman is a career 35.3-percent shooter from 3, a skill set that should help alongside Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan.

Reports: Wizards to retain Bryant

Relentless energy and interior efficiency have reportedly earned Thomas Bryant a permanent place in the NBA.

According to multiple reports, the Wizards have agreed to terms that will keep Bryant on a three-year, $25 million contract. The former second-round pick averaged 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in just 20.8 minutes per game for Washington, which ultimately made him their starting center. The 21-year-old big man was originally drafted 42nd overall by the Jazz in 2017.

The Spurs’ rock-solid reputation will welcome an equally respected swingman in DeMarre Carroll, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. The veteran forward has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $13 million contract with the Spurs.

Last season the 32-year-old veteran averaged 11.1 points and 5.2 rebounds for the Nets, who made their first postseason appearance since 2015.

After agreeing to trade Malcolm Brogdon to the Pacers, Milwaukee will reportedly re-sign George Hill to keep at least some of its backcourt depth. Shams Charania of The Athletic tweeted that Hill has agreed to a three-year, $29 million contract.

After being traded from Cleveland mid-season and struggling through injury, Hill came to life in Milwaukee’s run to the Eastern Conference finals, averaging 11.5 points while shooting 41.7 percent from 3. The 33-year-old combo guard provides a needed and steady hand at point guard in the wake of Brogdon’s departure, and should serve as the primary backup to starting playmaker Eric Bledsoe.

Reports: Hood set to re-sign with Blazers

Last season, the Portland Trail Blazers finally cracked the playoff code and made a run all the way to the Western Conference finals. And Rodney Hood played a key role off the bench, crucially hitting what proved to be a game-winning 3-pointer in quadruple-overtime of Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets in the conference semis, along with a 25-point showing in Game 6 of that same series.

Now, he’s reportedly ready to run it back, with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reporting that Hood will return to Portland on a two-year, $16 million deal.

After being drafted in 2014, Hood had been developing steadily with the Utah Jazz before an ill-fated trade to the Cavaliers stunted that growth. After struggling with Cleveland, a deadline deal to the Blazers created an opportunity for efficiency in a clear-cut role. He averaged 9.6 points on 45.2 shooting, which would have represented a career-best mark from the floor.

Reports: Knicks to make Randle their first big signing

After reportedly waffling over offering Kevin Durant a fully guaranteed contract, the New York Knicks decided Julius Randle was next best and available priority.

Adrian Wojnarowski was first to report that Randle and the Knicks had come to terms on a three-year, $63 million contract. Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports added that the third year of that contract is a team option.

The seventh overall pick of the 2014 Draft, Randle averaged a career-high 21.4 points and 8.7 rebounds in his lone season with New Orleans after leaving the Lakers via free agency just a year ago. With No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson set to begin a new era for the Pelicans, Randle has seemingly decided to move on to a team in desperate need of talent.

For New York, the move signals a fall-back plan after failing to land any All-Star talent with ample cap space available. Instead, the Knicks will move forward with Randle and third overall pick RJ Barrett.

Reports: Kemba Walker chooses Boston

The last time Kemba Walker was playing for a team in New England, he delivered a championship. Boston fans can only hope that repeats itself.

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Walker has agreed to sign a four-year maximum contract with the Celtics. A source told the Associated Press on Sunday that it’s likely that Walker will be part of a trade that would send Terry Rozier from Boston to Charlotte on a three-year, $58 million deal. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the moves have not been finalized.

The Charlotte Observer first reported that Walker had informed the Hornets of his decision.

Reports: Magic to re-sign Ross

Orlando continues to retain the core of its roster, reportedly coming to terms with Terrence Ross on a day they also came to reported agreements with Nikola Vucevic and former Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the Ross deal as a four-year, $54 million contract. The 6-foot-7 swingman is coming off a career year in which he averaged 15.1 points while shooting 38.3 percent from 3.

Report: Pacers to add Lamb to backcourt

The Indiana Pacers have quickly revamped a team that surprisingly made the playoffs despite the mid-season loss of All-Star guard Victor Oladipo. Reports are they’ve bolstered the backcourt by agreeing to a 3-year, $31.5 million deal with Jeremy Lamb, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Lamb, a 6-foot-5 guard, has spent the last four seasons with Charlotte after being drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Last season, Lamb built on a breakthrough 2017-18 campaign for the Hornets, setting career highs in minutes (28.5), points (15.3) and rebounds (5.5), while shooting 34.8 percent from 3-point range and 44.0 percent overall. His 4.2 attempts from deep also represented a high.

Report: Aminu to sign with Magic

Looking to build on a playoff breakthrough, the Magic have reportedly added veteran forward Al-Farouq Aminu, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

Entering his 10th year out of Wake Forest, Aminu started for the Blazers throughout their run to the Western Conference finals last season, averaging 9.4 points and 7.5 rebounds in 28.3 minutes while shooting 34.3 percent from 3-point range and 43.3 percent overall.

Report: Ariza to move on to Sacramento

Veteran swingman Trevor Ariza is reportedly set to move from Washington D.C. to Sacramento.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the veteran swingman will join the Kings on a two-year, $25 million contract. The 34-year-old forward averaged 14.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 43 games with the Wizards after being traded from Phoenix in the middle of last season.

Reports: Sixers to retain Harris on five-year deal

Philadelphia isn’t eager to re-start the Process. According to multiple reports, the 76ers will bring back Tobias Harris on a five-year $180 million deal.

The Sixers acquired Harris from the LA Clippers in exchange for Mike Muscala, Landry Shamet, two future first-round picks and two future second-round picks. Between Harris’ talent, the price to obtain him, and the risk of losing him for nothing, it appears Philadelphia had no intention of letting Harris walk away for nothing in unrestricted free agency.

Harris averaged 18.2 points and 7.9 rebounds in 27 games with the 76ers. A former first-round pick of the then-Charlotte Bobcats in 2011, Harris has played for the Bucks, Magic, Pistons, Clippers and 76ers.

Reports: Bogdanovic to leave Pacers, sign with Jazz

The buzz started to build around the Utah Jazz earlier Sunday, and as soon as meetings began to be announced, reports indicated that it was for good reason: ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski relayed that the Utah Jazz have agreed to a four-year, $73 million deal with swingman Bojan Bogdanovic.

The 6-foot-8 Croatian, originally drafted by the Brooklyn Nets – in 2011, two years ahead of his NBA arrival – spent the last two seasons with the Indiana Pacers. When Victor Oladipo went down with a knee injury in January, Bogdanovic took over as the primary option for Indiana, while continuing to provide solid defense on the other end. He finished the year averaging 18.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 42.5 percent from 3-point range and 49.7 percent overall.

Bogdanovic joins an up-and-coming Jazz team that includes Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Joe Ingles and (once Utah’s reported trade with Memphis is complete) Mike Conley.

Reports: Porzingis agrees to five-year max deal with Mavs

After moving heaven and earth to acquire him, the Dallas Mavericks weren’t about to let Kristaps Porzingis go anywhere.

Multiple reports, including from Marc Stein of The New York Times, state Porzingis has agreed to a five-year, $158 million contract to remain with Dallas. Porzingis missed all of last season while recovering from a torn ACL suffered in 2017-18. Still just 23 years old, the 7-foot-3 big man will pair his multi-dimensional skillset with reigning Kia Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic as the Mavericks transition from the Dirk Nowitzki era.

Porzingis boasts career averages of 17.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.0 blocks while shooting 36.1 percent from 3-point range.

Reports: Bucks to sign, trade Brogdon to Pacers

With Darren Collison retired and Ricky Rubio reportedly heading to Phoenix, the Pacers will shift gears to a younger option at point guard.

Multiple reports, including from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, have Milwaukee signing and trading 26-year-old combo guard Malcolm Brogdon to the Pacers in exchange for a future first-round pick and two second-round picks.

Brogdon shattered any expectations set for him as a former second-round pick, winning 2016-17 Kia Rookie of the Year honors while becoming an essential part of Milwaukee’s backcourt rotation. Brogdon averaged 13.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists during the 2019 NBA playoffs as the Bucks reached the Eastern Conference finals.

Reports: Rubio agrees to sign with Suns

The Phoenix Suns got a point guard after all.

Multiple reports, including from Shams Charania, state that Ricky Rubio will leave Utah for the rebuilding Suns, who have not had a steady hand at point guard since trading Eric Bledsoe to Milwaukee in 2017. Now Phoenix adds a veteran, pass-first playmaker alongside young talents Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges.

The 28-year-old Rubio averaged 12.7 points, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals for the Jazz last season.

Reports: Redick to leave 76ers for Pelicans

Philadelphia’s best outside shooter will ply his trade alongside newly minted No. 1 pick Zion Williamson.

Multiple reports, including from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, have JJ Redick joining New Orleans on a two-year deal worth over $26 million. The 35-year-old shooting guard averaged a career-high 18.1 points while shooting 39.7 percent from 3 for the 76ers last season.

Redick adds a dose of much-needed perimeter marksmanship and veteran presence to the rebuilding Pelicans, who will also boast Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram once they finalize a trade to send Anthony Davis to the Lakers.

Report: Rose to sign two-year deal with Pistons

After a resurgent season with the Timberwolves, former Kia MVP Derrick Rose has agreed to sign a two-year contract with Detroit, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Rose averaged 18.0 points on 48.2 percent shooting, including a career-best 37.0 percent from 3 last season. The former No. 1 overall pick has not played 70 games or more in a regular season since 2010-11, but showed enough staying power with the Timberwolves to garner interest this offseason.

Report: Valanciunas set to re-sign with Grizzlies

Memphis has designs on reshaping its roster behind its new rookie, Ja Morant, and second-year big man Jaren Jackson Jr. However, the Grizzlies have some other key youngsters that could prove crucial to the future, including center Jonas Valanciunas.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Grizzlies have agreed to re-sign Valanciunas to a three-year, $45 million deal.

After missing two months before the trade to recover from thumb surgery, Valanciunas was dominant from his debut with Memphis after it acquired him at the trade deadline. From the trade deadline through the end of the regular season, he was the only NBA player to average at least 19 points (19.9), 10 rebounds (10.7) and 1.5 blocks (1.58) on 50 percent shooting (54.5%).

Durant announces decision to sign with Nets

Kevin Durant is on the move once again.

The two-time Finals MVP announced via The Boardroom that he intends to sign with the Brooklyn Nets. The Golden State Warriors’ standout forward will reportedly sign a four-year, $164 million deal with Brooklyn and is expected to team with former Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving and former All-NBA big man DeAndre Jordan.

News had already broken that Irving and the Nets were moving toward a max deal that would pay the All-Star guard $141 million over four seasons. The two All-NBA talents join a Nets roster that already includes Caris LeVert, Joe Harris, Jarrett Allen and Spencer Dinwiddie.

Reports: Middleton will return to Milwaukee

Khris Middleton’s first All-Star appearance and key role on an Eastern Conference finals run was enough to convince Milwaukee to bring him back at all costs. Multiple reports, including Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, state that Middleton will return to the Bucks on a five-year, $178 million deal.

Middleton averaged 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists for a Bucks team that earned the league’s best record (60-22) in 2018-19. The former second-round pick was an unrestricted free agent and in high demand in a robust free agent market. Milwaukee, however, appears set on maintaining as much of its contending core as possible.

Reports: Rozier to be signed, traded to Hornets

Charlotte will lose Kemba Walker, but reportedly not for nothing. Multiple reports, including Shams Charania of The Athletic, Terry Rozier will wind up with the Hornets via sign-and-trade with a three-year, $58 million contract.

Rozier became a prime free agent candidate once his All-Star peers at point guard had already chosen their destinations. The Hornets would appear to have jumped to the front of the line with a good-sized contract.

The news comes despite Rozier coming off a disappointing season in which he averaged just 9.0 points per game on 38.7 percent shooting. The Hornets are no doubt banking on Rozier recapturing his 2017-18 form, which saw him step in for an injured Kyrie Irving and average 16.5 points during the Celtics’ Eastern Conference finals run.

Report: Gay plans to re-sign with Spurs

Rudy Gay’s bounce-back season in San Antonio was enough to convince the Spurs to bring him back. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Gay will re-sign with the Spurs for two years, $32 million.

Report: Sacramento will retain Barnes, add Dedmon

Per The Athletic’s Sam Amick, the Kings will re-sign Harrison Barnes (four years, $85 million) while adding Dewayne Dedmon (three years, $40 million).

Barnes averaged 14.3 points in 28 games with the Kings after his trade from the Dallas Mavericks, while Dedmon averaged 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds with the Hawks.

Lopez plans to stick with Bucks, per reports

The Milwaukee Bucks climbed to the top of the Eastern Conference standings in the 2018-19 regular season. Much of that was due to an offense that thrived on 3-pointers, including a barrage of them from center Brook Lopez.

The man dubbed “Splash Mountain” by Bucks faithful will apparently be back in the mix for a few more seasons with Milwaukee. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports Lopez will sign a four-year, $52 million deal once free agency opens tonight. The news was also confirmed by Matt Velasquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The 11-year veteran had a standout year with Milwaukee, averaging 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.2 blocks per game. Perhaps his greatest value was as a 3-point shooter, where he connected on 36.5% and sank a career-best 187 3-pointers.

Boston eyeing potential three-team, sign-and-trade deal?

It wouldn’t be an NBA trade deadline without a wild trade possibly being bandied about, and this one is no different.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Boston Celtics are showing interest and having talks about a potential three-team trade that would involve the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets and themselves. In it, a trio of point guards — Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker and Terry Rozier — would shift locales.

Reports: Melli, Pelicans nearing deal

The New Orleans Pelicans’ offseason roster renovation began with the reported trade of All-Star big man Anthony Davis. Then, it entered its next phase with the drafting of Zion Williamson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft.

It is apparently continuing as the Pelicans are close to finalizing a two-year deal with EuroLeague star Nicolo Melli, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski via Twitter:

EuroLeague power forward Nicolo Melli is finalizing a two-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, sources tell ESPN. Melli, 28, was the top scorer in the EuroLeague Finals for Fenerbahce last season.

Andrew Lopez of The Times-Picayune also confirmed the move.

Last season, Melli averaged 7.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game during the season, but upped those marks to 8 ppg and 4.5 rpg in the EuroLeague Final Four.
