The holiday season is here, and for the first time, you can gift League Pass to a basketball fan in your life.

This annual subscription gives users 12 months of out-of-market NBA Games live or on-demand with around-the-clock NBA TV coverage. Whether you have League Pass or not, you are eligible to gift League Pass and the 24/7 basketball coverage that comes with it.

Starting Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. ET, gift givers can purchase a 12-month subscription to League Pass with a one-time payment of $99.99. During checkout, purchasers will be asked to give the name and email of the recipient with a date for when they want League Pass to be delivered along with an optional gift message.

On the chosen delivery date, an email will be sent to the recipient with a redemption code and information on who the gift is from. The 12-month subscription begins once the recipient redeems the gift. After the 12 months, the recipient is given the option to renew their subscription.

If a user already has League Pass, the gift subscription will take effect upon the completion of their current subscription, whether it is at the end of their existing monthly or season-long subscription.

At the moment, the gift subscription is only available in the U.S., and both the gift giver and recipient must be in the U.S. Gift subscriptions can only be purchased on NBA.com, not through the NBA App.
