Jamal Crawford and Quentin Richardson return for a new stream of NBA HooperVision on NBA League Pass. The duo will give their unique perspectives on Tuesday’s game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers (7 ET), taking fans inside the life of an NBA player by sharing stories from their careers and providing in-depth analysis on the matchup.

NBA HooperVision gives fans the authentic feel of watching a game with two NBA legends. Crawford and Richardson do everything from discussing players’ pregame outfits to breaking down detailed X’s and O’s during the live game. The show usually includes a special guest, too. On the most recent stream of NBA HooperVision, the duo welcomed NBA 75th Anniversary Team member and current Suns point guard Chris Paul. Tune in tonight to see what the guys have planned on NBA League Pass.

CP3 joins HooperVision: Part I

The magnitude of tonight’s matchup can’t be understated. Two of the top teams in the East matching up with identical records, battling for playoff seeding. Within the game you have Joel Embiid going head-to-head against Giannis Antetokounmpo, with both players in the top three of the latest Kia MVP Ladder.

The Bucks (46-28) enter the contest looking to get back on track after suffering a blowout loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday. Giannis Antetokounmpo continued his MVP campaign with 30 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort, while Khris Middleton chipped in 16 points. The Bucks allowed Memphis to score 127 points, and will look to tighten up on the defensive end against Philly. Brook Lopez returning to the lineup recently should give them a boost there, but if the Bucks want to repeat as NBA champions, they need to improve upon their 110.4 defensive rating (13th in the NBA).

Milwaukee has been banged up all season, so getting healthy as it fights for seeding before the playoffs is crucial. With the team getting healthier at the right time, tonight is a good test for Milwaukee in slowing down Embiid and James Harden on the road. Milwaukee grabbing a win tonight will put them on the right path before a big clash in Brooklyn on Thursday night.

The Sixers (46-28) also are fresh off a loss after they fell 114-104 on the road to the Phoenix Suns. Despite the loss, Embiid bolstered his MVP case stats-wise that game, finishing with 37 points and 15 rebounds. Harden’s shooting woes marked that loss (he was 2-for-11) and Philadelphia, overall, is seeking consistency on offense to close the season. In March, Philadelphia has a 114.5 offensive rating, which is 14th in the NBA.

Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey are filling their roles well, with Harris averaging 17.5 ppg and Maxey providing 17.4 ppg. After that, no other 76ers player averages double-digits in scoring. Embiid, Harden, Harris and Maxey have formed something of a Big 4 in Philly, and the Sixers’ success is dependent on how far that group can take them.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid are both Kia MVP candidates.

Richardson and Crawford were both selected in the 2000 Draft and combined to play in more than 2,100 NBA games.

Crawford, a guard who was picked No. 8 in the Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and traded to the Chicago Bulls, is tied with Lou Williams as the only players in NBA history to win the Kia Sixth Man of the Year Award in three different seasons. Crawford played for the Bulls, Knicks, Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, LA Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Nets in his 20-year career.

At 39, and in his final regular-season game with Phoenix, Crawford dropped 51 points in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks. That performance made him the oldest NBA player to score 50+ points in a game, as well as the first player to score that many points off the bench in a single NBA game.

Richardson, a combo guard-forward who was picked No. 18 by the Clippers, played 13 seasons with stops in Phoenix, New York, Miami and Orlando after beginning his career in LA. He won the 2005 NBA 3-Point Contest and has gone on to a successful broadcast career, which includes co-hosting the popular “Knuckleheads” podcast.
