LAS VEGAS — Jules Bernard tallied 20 points off the bench to lead the Washington Wizards to a 73-69 victory over the Sacramento Kings in the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas on Thursday at Thomas and Mack Center.

The game got out to a competitive start as the Wizards owned an early lead before the Kings took a two-point edge into the second quarter. The Wizards turned up their play and outscored the Kings 26-16 to claim an eight-point cushion by halftime. The Kings brought a stronger effort to open the third quarter and chipped away to make it a two-point game heading into the final quarter. The game tightened up and remained within a two-point difference for over two minutes down the stretch where the Wizards held on with clutch shooting.

Bernard shot 5-for-11 from the field and chipped in five rebounds and two assists along with his game-high scoring effort to lead the Wizards. Alex Sarr turned in two points, 11 rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block, while Taylor Funk added 12 points, four rebounds and a steal.

Boogie Ellis accounted for 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting, two rebounds and a steal to lead the Wizards. Isaac Jones followed up with 12 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three blocks, while Drew Timme and Mason Jones chipped in 11 points each.
