NEW YORK — The NBA announced today the game and broadcast schedules for the NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024, which will feature all 30 NBA teams and take place July 12-22 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
All 76 games of the 11-day competition will air live on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+ and ESPN3) or NBA TV. Every game will also be available to stream on the ESPN App.
NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 will tip off on Friday, July 12 with seven games. ESPN’s doubleheader that day will feature a matchup between Zaccharie Risacher, the No. 1 overall pick in NBA Draft 2024 presented by State Farm, and the Atlanta Hawks taking on No. 2 pick Alex Sarr and the Washington Wizards at 9:30 p.m. ET. In the first game on ESPN, draftees Dalton Knecht and Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers will face No. 3 pick Reed Sheppard and the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. ET.
NBA TV will begin its live game coverage with four games on July 12, starting with the NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 opener between the reigning NBA Summer League champion Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic at 4 p.m. ET. Other games on NBA TV during the competition include No. 5 pick Ron Holland II and the Detroit Pistons against the Rockets on Monday, July 15 (6:30 p.m. ET), and No. 4 pick Stephon Castle and the San Antonio Spurs against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, July 16 (10:30 p.m. ET).
Each team will play at least five games, including four games from July 12-19. After each team’s first four games, the top four teams will advance to participate in the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader on Sunday, July 21 at 2 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on Monday, July 22 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The four playoff teams will be determined by winning percentage in each team’s first four games, with tiebreak criteria available here. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game on either Saturday, July 20 or Sunday, July 21.
NBA Summer League in Las Vegas has a rich history of showcasing future NBA stars. Former participants include 2024 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown (who played at NBA Summer League in 2016 and 2017) and Kia NBA Most Valuable Player Award recipients Kevin Durant (2007), Stephen Curry (2009), James Harden (2009), Russell Westbrook (2009), Giannis Antetokounmpo (2014) and Nikola Jokić (2015).
