LAS VEGAS — The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Houston Rockets, 105-95, in the NBA 2K25 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Sunday.

While the Rockets got out to a 27-20 lead after the first quarter, the Trail Blazers took command of this game behind a 28-13 second quarter and 33-27 third quarter. Portland also closed the game on a 7-0 run to complete the win. The Trail Blazers shot 42.0% from the field, while the Rockets shot 38.9%. The Trail Blazers doubled up the Rockets in blocks, 12-6, while forcing them to commit 18 turnovers.

The Rockets (2-3) were led by Trevor Keels, who collected 22 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals off the bench. Jermaine Samuels Jr. also provided 16 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals off the pine. Orlando Robinson led the starters with 13 points, 10 rebounds and two steals.

The Trail Blazers (3-2) were led by Kennedy Chandler, who compiled 21 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Kris Murray amassed 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Terquavion Smith totaled 18 points, seven rebounds, five steals and two blocks. Javan Johnson led the bench with 13 points and two rebounds.

That marks the end of the Summer League for both teams.
