Hunter Tyson poured in 31 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 112-81 victory over the Miami Heat in the NBA 2K24 Summer League on Friday at Cox Pavilion.

The Nuggets got out to a solid start with a 31-17 lead after one quarter and kept the momentum going in the second to push it to a 21-point advantage by halftime. The Heat could not find an answer in the third quarter and saw the deficit grow to 33 points heading into the final frame. The Nuggets had no trouble closing out the game and cruised to the impressive 31-point win.

Tyson shot a blistering 11-for-13 from the field on his way to the game-high 31 points for the Nuggets. Julian Strawther followed up with 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and a steal. Andrew Funk added 14 points, four rebounds and four assists off the bench, while Collin Gillespie logged three points, nine rebounds, eight assists and a steal.

On the other side, Jamaree Bouyea led the way for the Heat with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 30 minutes of action. Patrick Gardiner was the only other player to score in double digits for Miami, with 14 points and six rebounds, while Jamal Cain chipped in nine points, three rebounds and a block.
