Jonathan Kuminga was the top performer during the NBA 2K23 Summer League on Sunday. He logged 28 points (10-22 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-18 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, a block and five turnovers during the 86-85 win over the Spurs.

Kuminga wasn’t particularly efficient from the floor during Sunday’s victory, but he had plenty of volume from the floor and from the charity stripe to lead the Warriors to the one-point win. He was one of two players to top 20 points for the Warriors, and he led the team in scoring and rebounds.

Kuminga was selected by Golden State with the seventh overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He showed signs of promise during his rookie season, averaging 9.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game.

Kuminga and the Warriors next play Tuesday against the Celtics (8:30 ET, ESPN) in a rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals. Golden State has two more games in the NBA 2K23 Summer League prior to tournament play.
