The Sacramento Kings defeated the Dallas Mavericks 86-70 in the MGM Resorts Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Sunday.

A 22-15 first quarter advantage set the tone for the Kings, which moved to 4-0 in Las Vegas play and held the lead for all but two minutes. Sacramento led by only five points entering the final period, but they outscored Dallas 28-17 over the final 10 minutes and pushed the lead up to as much as 20 points.

With the win, the Kings will play in the Summer League championship game on Tuesday vs. the Boston Celtics (9 ET, ESPN)

Paced by Emanuel Terry’s 13 points, the Kings’ bench tripled up the Mavericks’ bench in scoring 45-15. Sacramento also won the turnover battle 17-6 and converted those turnovers into 24 points.

Louis King led the Kings with 18 points, two rebounds, two assists and three steals. Chimezie Metu posted seven points, seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in 23 minutes before being ejected for throwing a punch in the direction of the Mavs’ Eugene Omoruyi. Terry added eight rebounds to his bench-leading 13 points.

Carlik Jones led the Mavs with 18 points and four assists. Feron Hunt amassed 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Nate Hinton compiled 10 points and eight boards.
