NBA teams celebrate Juneteenth 2023

In celebration of Juneteenth 2023, the league encourages all members of the NBA family to honor and reflect on past and present racial injustices in our county.

The NBA celebrates Juneteenth, the annual holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, with various league and team programming, conversations and partnerships that encourage employees, fans and all members of the NBA family to further educate themselves on the holiday while also reflecting on past and present racial injustices in our county.

The NBA will observe the holiday today, June 19 with paid time off for all U.S. employees. Below is a recap of team activations in honor of Juneteenth 2023:
