SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 92-87, in the finale of the Utah Summer League at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Thursday.

The key stretch for the Jazz was a 16-4 run spanning the third and fourth quarters that turned a one-point lead into a game-high 13-point advantage with six minutes remaining. Atlanta fought back to pull within four in the final minute but could get no closer.

The shooting disparity was critical, with Utah connecting on 44 percent from the field and 38 percent from 3-point range while holding Atlanta to 35 percent from the field and 30 percent from long range.

Tony Bradley led the way for the Jazz (2-1) with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Georges Niang totaled 15 points and two steals, and Stanton Kidd finished with 15 points, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Grayson Allen went just 2-of-13 from the field for nine points but added six rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Trey Lewis led the bench with 11 points, four rebounds and five assists.

Rookie Trae Young, the fifth overall pick in the draft, turned in another poor shooting night for Atlanta, going 3-of-16 from the field for 10 points. In three Summer League games, Young shot 12-of-52 for 23 percent.

Tyler Dorsey led the Hawks with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Omari Spellman totaled nine points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Antonius Cleveland led the bench with 14 points, five rebounds and two steals.

Both teams will play next in the Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday. Utah plays the Portland Trail Blazers while Atlanta faces the New York Knicks.
