The Grizzlies challenged the upstart Kings on Monday without two of their usual starters.
Ja Morant (left ankle soreness) and Steven Adams (right knee soreness) were ruled out an hour before the 10:30 ET tip; they had been listed as “questionable” on the injury report heading in.

Desmond Bane scored 21 points for the Memphis in a 133-100 loss. The Grizzlies have dropped three straight following an 11-game winning streak.
Tyus Jones started in place of Morant and had 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds.
