Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell provided a gritty performance on Christmas Day, leading the Jazz to victory over Dallas, scoring 33 points despite apparent physical discomfort. The source of that was revealed Sunday as a left low back strain, with Utah listing Mitchell out of Monday’s game in San Antonio (8:30 ET, NBA League Pass).

Additionally, Mitchell will also be sidelined for Wednesday’s game at Portland (10 ET, NBA League Pass). The Jazz return home for a New Year’s Eve matchup with the Timberwolves (9 ET, NBA League Pass).
