Williams suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of the Bulls’ 104-103 loss to the New York Knicks on Oct. 29. The second-year forward underwent surgery to repair torn ligaments in his injured wrist.
Selected fourth overall by the Bulls in the 2020 Draft, Williams played in just five games for Chicago this season due to the injury, averaging 6.6 points and 2.2 rebounds. The 6-foot-7 big man was the starting power forward at the beginning of the season.
Chicago (41-29) has been struggling post All-Star break, winning just three games since Feb. 24. The Bulls are currently sitting in 5th place in the Eastern conference standings as the playoff race heats up in the final weeks of the regular season.
