SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 97-95 in overtime in the Salt Lake City Summer League at Delta Center on Monday.

There were 10 ties and 10 lead changes in this game, which took an overtime session to determine a winner. Zach Edey hit a game-tying tip on an intentionally missed free throw with 0.2 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime.

Under the Summer League overtime rules in which the first team to seven points wins, Utah outscored Memphis, 7-5, to prevail. Keyonte George hit two free throws to reach the 97-point target score and seal the win for Utah.

The Jazz shot 27.3% from three-point range (9-for-33) and 71.8% from the free-throw line (28-for-39) while holding the Grizzlies to 19.4% (7-for-36) from long range and 58.3% from the charity stripe (14-for-24).

The Jazz (1-0) were led by George, who collected 30 points, four rebounds and four assists on 5-for-21 shooting. Ben Sensabaugh totaled 15 points and six boards. Walker Kessler compiled 10 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and five blocks, while Isaiah Collier led the bench with 14 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals.

The Grizzlies (0-1) were led by Scotty Pippen Jr., who provided 21 points, five assists and three steals. Jake LaRavia had 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. GG Jackson generated 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Edey had 14 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks.

Both teams continue Summer League play Tuesday, with Memphis facing the Philadelphia 76ers and Utah playing the Oklahoma City Thunder.
