The Pacers entered the 2024 NBA Draft with the No. 36,  No. 49 and No. 50 overall picks. 


No. 36 pick: Juan Nunez


No. 49 pick: Tristen Newton

Prior to college, Newton attended Burges High School in El Paso, Texas. Notably, he led the team in scoring as a senior with 37.2 ppg. Newton committed to East Carolina, where he started 19 of 31 games as a freshman. He became a full-time starter as a sophomore in 2020-21. Newton began earning accolades as a junior, being named to the All-AAC Second Team behind 17.7 points, 5.0 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 34.8 minutes.

Newton transferred to UConn for the 2022-23 season, where he led the team to their fifth NCAA championship as the starting point guard, being named to the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team. The accolades continued as a fifth-year senior, with Newton leading the Huskies to back-to-back titles. He was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament, not to mention the Bob Cousy (Best PG) Award and an All-American First Team selection. No. 50 pick: Enrique Freeman

From Cleveland, Ohio, Freeman played prep basketball at St. Martin de Porres High School and had to walk on at Akron after not drawing much collegiate interest. As a Zip, Freeman stacked up awards quickly. He was a four-time MAC All-Defensive team member, two-time First-Team All-MAC member, two-time MAC Tournament MVP (2022, 2024) and won 2022 MAC Defensive Player of the Year. Freeman led the NCAA in rebounds during the 2023-24 season en route to being named the MAC Player of the Year and was an AP All-American honorable mention.

During his final collegiate season, Freeman averaged 18.6 points, 12.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.8 steals in 32.4 minutes per game across 35 appearances (all starts).
