The Sacramento Kings 2 defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 108-94 at Chase Center in San Francisco, CA, in the 2024 NBA California Classic Summer League.

The Kings 2 didn’t have major problems in defeating the Lakers in the opening contest of the 2024 NBA Summer League, with Bronny James making his Summer League debut for the Lakers. Sacramento jumped to a 23-18 lead in the first quarter, and they remained in control by halftime. The Kings 2 pulled away in the third quarter and never looked back, ensuring the win in the final quarter.

Adonis Arms had a dominant display after posting 32 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Jordan Ford finished with 17 points and six assists. Xavier Sneed delivered 13 points, two rebounds and two assists. Antoine Davis ended with 20 points.

James finsihed 2-for-9 for four points, missing all three of his 3s, with a pair of assists, two rebounds and a steal in just under 22 minutes of court time.

Dalton Knecht scored 12 points and four assists. Colin Castleton posted 11 points and Maxwell Lewis finished with 14 points. Blake Hinson had a team-high 17 points.

The Lakers next play Sunday against the Warriors, while the Kings 2 play Sunday against the Heat.
