WNBA Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (6/2)

Welcome to June as I continue to come at you once a week covering the best WNBA bets for the day’s slate. Today features four solid matchups, highlighted by the Connecticut Sun trying to keep their undefeated season alive in Atlanta. It’s been a solid season with many storylines leading the way with the loaded rookie class.

When betting, make sure to monitor any news and shop around for the best odds. This is the best way to get ahead of the books. The difference between -110 and -120 may not seem big, but over the course of an entire season, it’s a big difference.

Either way, let’s get to my favorite WNBA bets for Sunday, June 2.

WNBA Best Bet Odds & Picks: Sunday (6/2)

Los Angeles Sparks @ Phoenix Mercury

The Sparks haven’t been playing spectacularly early this season, but they have been consistent and competitive. Los Angeles has reached the 80-point clip in two of their last three games and against tougher opponents, as well. In their most recent game against the Chicago Sky, the Spark went a combined 4-21 from beyond the arc and still managed 73 points. This team has cashed in from deep this season, with games above a 60% clip from three. They are also playing better ball of late.

This is a good spot for the Los Angeles offense to shine against a team like the Mercury that offers a big pace-up spot and has been playing some of the worst defense in the league. Multiple players can score double-digits and this team is deep. Whoever has the hot hand will get the minutes. If that happens, they should reach 80 points without a problem.

Bet: Sparks Over 79.5 Points (-115)

Dallas Wings @ Minnesota Lynx

That’s right, it’s a fun, mini Same-Game-Parlay (SGP) to wrap up your best bets for today’s WNBA games.

Listen, the Lynx are a better team here. They’re 6-1 ATS so far this season and are the best defense in the W in the early goings. This is a team that continues to be undervalued by books, and as the season progresses, their numbers will only get longer.

Minnesota controls the pace, and playing at home will not only let their defense shine but also showcase their identity. They are the second-slowest team in the league against a Dallas team that is coming off two single-possession games on the fifth leg of a road trip.

Napheesa Collier has been awesome for the Lynx, and they can take on Arike Ogunbowale and Co. With such odds for a team whose stock should only continue rising, this is another easy bet to make.

Bet: Under 164.5 + Lynx -6.5 (+242)
