On Monday night, the Los Angeles Clippers saw their five-game winning streak come to an end in Cleveland. Tonight, they continue their road trip against the Wizards, and they are heavily favored to get back in the win column. A balanced effort could lead to a lopsided victory along with props going under.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat are working on a streak of their own — a seven-game skid that’s stretched over the last two weeks. That has coincided with a decrease in Bam Adebayo’s scoring, which could continue tonight against the Kings.
The Orlando Magic will be in San Antonio before heading to Minnesota to finish their road trip. They lost Game 1 of their tour of Texas after a frantic finish in Dallas on Monday. Jalen Suggs could be a factor in a victory tonight.

NBA Player Props Today | Wednesday, Jan. 31
Kawhi Leonard Under 27.5 Points (-122)
7 p.m. ET | NBA League Pass
Leonard is coming of a 30-point outing on Monday night against the Cavaliers, who have one of the stingiest defenses in the league. Tonight, he has an excellent matchup against the Wizards, who are last in scoring defense. However, the Clippers are 12.5-point favorites and six of their last eight wins have been by double digits, including in Boston. Another victory came by nine against Memphis, where they entered the fourth quarter up 21 points.
Leonard may score 28 points tonight, but if this game turns into another Clippers blowout victory, he will have to do it in three quarters. Additionally, he is averaging 23.8 points per game, so this line is nearly four points above his season average. He has scored 28 points just twice in his last 10 games. In those games, he played 38 and 37 minutes as they were tight battles in the fourth quarter.
Leonard also will not be the only Clipper in a great spot tonight. Washington is allowing the fifth-most points to point guards and the most points to small forwards. Paul George, whose points line is at 20.5 tonight, could be in line to bust out of a recent slump. Additionally, James Harden is in a great spot as well.
Leonard is going to get his tonight. However, if the Clippers get 25 points from George, 18-20 points from Harden, and 30-40 points from Norman Powell and Russell Westbrook off the bench, then the Clippers will not need a big scoring night from Leonard to pull out a victory.

Bam Adebayo Under 19.5 Points (-105)
7:30 p.m. ET | NBA League Pass
Adebayo is averaging 20.7 points per game, but he has not scored 20 in his last four games. That coincides with the arrival of Terry Rozier in Miami. Going back a little further, he hasn’t gone over this line in six of his past eight games. In that stretch, he is averaging just 15.5 points per game.
With Rozier and Tyler Herro in the starting lineup, the Heat have two shoot-first guards on the floor. Rozier’s field-goal attempts have increased over the last two games, while Herro has attempted 14 shots in each of the last four games, with 36 coming in the last two. Additionally, Jimmy Butler has been more aggressive of late. He has scored 26 points in each of the last two games.
Overall, the Kings don’t have the strongest defense, but they are allowing the fewest points to centers, per FantasyPros. Miami is allowing the second-fewest points to centers, which is no surprise with Adebayo’s defensive prowess. Domantas Sabonis, Sacramento’s second option, could wind up going under as well.
Adebayo is usually the second option for the Heat, but lately he has looked more like the fourth for a team that has not been scoring a lot of points. The Heat have not topped 110 in their last four games, although two of them were against top-notch defensive units in the Celtics and Knicks.
Adebayo made six of his 10 shots against the Knicks, but he did not look particularly aggressive. In a more favorable matchup against the Suns, he took nine shots and made just three. If that trend continues, don’t expect Adebayo to hit 20 points tonight.

Jalen Suggs Over 1.5 Made 3-Pointers (+114)
8 p.m. ET | NBA League Pass
Suggs has scored in double figures in four of his past six games, including when he played just four minutes against Memphis last week before exiting with an injury. His points line tonight is 9.5 and I lean toward the over there. However, he has done much of his scoring from beyond the arc.
Suggs has made at least one 3-pointer in eight of his last nine games, hitting this line in five of his last seven. He has attempted four 3s in seven of his last 10 games, so the volume is there. Even against Memphis, both of his field goal attempts were 3s. Tonight, he has a great matchup as the Spurs are 26th in 3s allowed per game and 27th in 3-point percentage defense.
Additionally, the Magic have gotten healthier with Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter Jr. back in the lineup. While that might take a take a shot or two away from Suggs, it will also create open looks for him as the Spurs will be more focused on Wagner and Paolo Banchero. Considering that we only need two here, a pair of open looks will do the trick.
When Suggs plays 25 minutes or more, he has hit this line in 22 of 31 (70.4%) games this season. He has knocked down two 3s in eight of his last 10 games when playing 25 minutes while averaging 3.3 per contest.
I prefer Suggs’ 3s to his points tonight because of the plus odds with a similar hit rate. It might be also worthwhile to sprinkle on three 3s given his trends and that he just made three against Dallas. You can take that at +330 on DraftKings.
