Giannis Antetokounmpo has entered the conversation for NBA Finals MVP after a triple-double performance in the Milwaukee Bucks‘ Game 1 win over the Boston Celtics.
Steph Curry and Jayson Tatum were the favorites to win the NBA Finals MVP heading into the second round of the playoffs. With Tatum already going down 0-1 to the Bucks, Antetokounmpo is now even with him in odds at +600 on BetMGM.

Curry’s odds have also improved after a Game 1 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. He has gone from +450 to +400 to win the Finals MVP at BetMGM. Curry scored 24 points in the Warriors‘ win.
Tatum was just barely behind him at +550, but with his loss and odds shifting to +600, Curry now has a significant lead.
Antetokounmpo was +750 to win the Finals MVP before the start of the second round. He put up 24 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in the Bucks’ win over the Celtics to vault him up to +600.
Devin Booker has also worked his way up the odds boards after returning for Game 6 against the New Orleans Pelicans. He is also at +600 along with Tatum and Antetokounmpo. He was originally favored along with Curry before getting hurt in the first round.
Jimmy Butler and Chris Paul round out the players with +1000 odds or better to win the Finals MVP.
